Some buildings are not available

Hello everyone,
I've been trying out KaM remake in multiplayer with a friend and I noticed that I cannot build watchtowers. Even after I constructed all available buildings, I had two buildings that were not available (screenshot at
http://i.imgur.com/4ZYPdki.jpg). I assume that one of them must be the watchtower, I don't know the other. What must I do in order to be able to build those buildings?
Thanks.

Hello new guy,
As I see, you were playing Valley of Equillibrium. On this map, you are disallowed to build watchtowers and market. The one your cursor is on is the place of the market's icon anyway

Thanks a lot, that and looking it in the map editor solves the mystery! It would be nice if disabled buildings are somehow marked as disabled during game time.

As I remember it is written in the map description.. You can find it in a lobby when you choose the map, it will be below the minimap.

Reasons like this are why I'm thinking that there should be a separate tab in the map's description that explains limitations are present in the map (unavailable buildings, no fish in center lake, what the team setup should be, etc.)

That's too much special conditions there, otherwise that could be a neat list.

I don't understand what you are trying to say, Krom

I don't understand what you are trying to say, Krom

He means there are too many customisations to automatically parse them from the mission and list them in a standard format (without the map author having to do anything). Examples of some customisations:
- Blocking any house
- Allowing any house to be built at the start
- Blocking trade
- Certain resource is not available
- Certain resource is "unlimited" in your storehouse (e.g. maps which give you 9999 stone because there's none on the map)
That's not even counting customisations which can be done with dynamic scripting, like custom unlock orders. It would be pretty hard to automatically parse them and list them in a neat usable format.

Thanks for the explanation, Lewin.
However, (once again, lol) I've been misunderstood. What I meant was to have two different descriptions made by the
author. Not automatically generated by the game. I like to have a (relatively) long story for my maps, and for me, it doesn't look good/ doesn't "fit" to have map information in the same box. In addition, some player might miss the information all-together if they don't read the story. What I was proposing was to have a "story" tab and a "description" tab.
HOWEVER
I don't think that the story is actually important enough to have its own description box. I don't think that this is needed in the game at the moment. I was just brainstorming. Take the idea for what it's worth.

@Ben: He who thinks the story is important - writes it down into map description, he who wants to write map special feats - write them. There's one field and you can write several sections there just as fine. Still no guarantee that everyone will read them.

The space available in the startup screen is already fairly limited to try and cram everything in there.
How about a box that lets you flip between either?
Something like this:
"Show Map Description"
"Show story"
When you click the first, the special features / team setups etc are displayed, and when you click the second, the, the story comes up. Don't know if it's possible at all but would maybe allow the author to present more detail about his map.

Maybe you can make a small campaign out of 2-3 maps, then the story will fit in much better )
As I suggested, you still can do it like so:
StoryStoryStoryStoryStory
---
DescriptionDescriptionDescription
---
CreditsCreditsCreditsCredits
Adding one more pane without all of the mapmakers aware of how to use it and clear goal .. not sure thats a good thing. We can add separate field for creadits, because every map has them in below description, thats okay, but separate tab with another description which is not much different from first tab with description probably not.
