Oh wait a second... this is for Mac, not for iPhone. Seriously, why the hell?
edit - I forgot, there actually WAS a version for Mac already. So the big news is only the inclusion into the Appstore. I never played Linux/Mac versions of TSK (well... apart from trying the Linux demo out for 5 minutes), does anyone remember if it fixes any bugs like more resolution support etc.?

Yes there was an official Mac version of TPR. The appstore screenshots are the TSK campaign but the RuneSoft ones are TPR (you can see a vagabond)... I wonder which it is?
Also the appstore screenshots look bigger than the maximum resolution that TPR supported. Maybe they made it support higher resolutions, that's probably not hard to change.

I think the Mac version was of TSK only. I'm honestly not all that surprised that someone mistakenly put TPR screenshots on the RuneSoft page (well 2 of the shots are from TSK) as the difference is not all that easy to notice unless you know the game well.
Nonetheless it's great to see that the game is now once more on sale for the Mac. What I'm a bit curious about though is whether this actually works on the modern x86 based Macs when I'm pretty sure the original port was made for the PowerPC based version. Though the system requirements state simply OS X 10.6.6 so perhaps they're using somekind of wrapper to get around that?

They still sell TSK? I thought they only sell TPR nowadays?
Anyway, this doesn't effect the Remake in any way, does it? It only shows that this is still Topwares poorly used milking cow.

There's no Linux/Mac port of TPR, so yeah, they still sell TSK unfortunately. But the other hand, who cares? We have Remake, which works really nice on Linux (even if the devs didn't have to fix a single bug for that
) - so it should be possible to play it on Mac as well.

There were a few, we directed them towards Mac versions of Wine, not sure if they succeeded tho. Theoretically it should work.

I agree sir, Mac version were do only for TSK..
The putterd TPR screenshots were not capable...

I don't know if you guys can help.. I downloaded TSK from the app store on a MacBook Air and when i open it, it works but the screen turns 120* to the right and smudges when i move the cursor. its version 1.0.0 but when i downloaded the patch, (OSX) it just opened in a notepad..
Ideas?

I don't know much about Macs, but try updating your graphics drivers or running the game in a compatibility mode if one exists. Maybe we have another Mac user here who can help you?

There is no compatibility mode I know of... Also when I download the patch I'm just supposed to open it to make it work?
Thank you very much guys.
P.S : I'd like to mention that it worked correctly the second time I opened it and played the whole first level without problems.. but then I closed it to do some work and I came back to play but its always smudging now.. I tried like 50 times for sure. Pity if it doesn't work. I love this game to bits and bytes
If you guys have any other ideas I'd like to hear them
