Single Payer Maps?

Hey,

Forgive me if I posted this in the wrong section, but I downloaded a few of the custom maps that I have found here and when I try to play them in single player I get the error of, no human player deteced. I am assuming that it is looking for two humans? Is there an easy way to make these maps playable against AI? Or could someone point me to some good single player maps?

Thanks,

Re: Single Payer Maps?

There's an easy way to fix this error. Open the map in Remakes MapEditor, go to a 4th tab (named "mission"), 2nd tab there (named "Player types") and set one player to be "human". Now you should be able to play the map in single-player mode. However note, that missing human almost certainly means that the map was designed to be multi-player, that means there's not much fun playing it single against AI (those are quite limited in recent r4179)

Re: Single Payer Maps?

Thanks for the information. I have never played the game online yet, but I am trying to convince one of my freinds to get in on it. Do you know are the coop maps that people put out humans vs CPU players or what are they?

Re: Single Payer Maps?

Yes coop maps are designed for humans vs AI, there are a lot of coop maps included in the Remake release.
