Rebels... Is it normal or not?

Hi guys!
I've just downloaded Merchator's Object editor, and looked into the Remake's unit.dat file. And I found many strange thingy, for example the stats of Rebels. I was like: "LOL wtf?!"
40 attack rate: Quite high... Militia have 35, Axemen and Scouts also, Lancers 25, Pikes 35

.
4 lives: Seriously? I thought only horses have 4 health points..
Speed 39 (note: "non-horse" troops'=24, horse troops'=39): Why? Better name this guy Usain Bolt!
Strength (Pikes, means: plus strenght against horses) 0: LOL! It's an anti-horse troop... come on... oh my god!
Can't believe... Is it supposed to be like this?

Looks like those are the Vagabond's stats... If I remember correctly, Merchator's unit.dat editor has some loading issues.

Merchator might have mistranslated and so swapped rebel and vagabond. There are also some other bugs with his editor I believe, so don't trust it completely. These are clearly not the rebel statistics because rebels move at a normal speed in-game.

I haven't seen Merchator around here for a very long time so it probably won't get fixed. It wouldn't take long for someone to write a new editor, we have one we use internally but I think it's also a bit buggy, and it's certainly not user friendly.

Absolutely. We keep it (and number of others) as tasks that are good for newcomers - to help them to get a grip on the code without overwhelming them with amount of detail in KaM Remakes main code.

I don't believe Merchator has even visited the site since it has been redone. It's a shame, really. He's one of the guys who've been here since the beginning.

Quite useful against horses (especially good against knights, and I am serious now), and good as meat in TPR. He looks like an animal breeder, and carries a pitchfork.

The Rebel was an extremely cheap soldier (cheapest in the game, requiring only one gold chest!) in TPR. However, gold was limited back in the days of TPR (no marketplace) and the player needed to waste a lot of space for multiple town-halls in order to train enough of them quickly. Moreover, the sleeping soldiers bug rendered all town-hall units worthless.
