Crash report

MadExcept just had to send three crash reports, because of some unit movement error. It kept happening when I told it to resume, so I had to shut down KaM. I don't know if it sent the log, but here it is:

Do you guys know what the problem might be? Might it be a problem in locating the point where the unit is, or the point where it has to move to?

So there is some unit puted in 0/0 not in the area of the map, NORMALY.
However i dont understand it,because it is Map from Tpr Mission 1, isn´t it?
Or have you changed sth at this map? :o

Thanks for posting it here. The crash report that is sent to us includes the log file, save of the game state and autosaves already, so we should have enough information to track down this bug :) I'll look at it when my exams are over.

@Pawel: Actually there are lots of scripting mistakes in the original KaM missions that are ignored by KaM, that might be the problem in this case although I'm not exactly sure if that's what the warning really means.

Ok, big LOL. I thought that the original mission can be played without any errors/problem, when you dont edit aynthing at the map/script... So I interpretate it right,that we need still many tests in campaigns,too ?

Other question: Do you have done this problem with adding more "objects places" that you dont need to delete old objects,when you will add a new one? You said sth. to me longer time ago.

Well the errors were ignored by KaM TSK/TPR so it didn't matter to the KaM authors I guess. They were discovered in the Remake because they caused crashes for us. Some examples are:
- TSK 7, 11, 14 had !ATTACK_POSITION near the top of the file before they'd even done !SET_GROUP
- TSK 7 had 2 watch towers on the same place for the enemy in the top left
- TSK 19 ordered some knights to attack a position off the map

You mean you want to have two objects on the one tile? I don't really think that's needed.

No, this is offtopic, about new object like my dandelion,which you said that you must conzentrate on "new standards" that you can add more objects and dont need to delete older one :D

Ah right, I forgot all about that. Actually I think there are free "slots" available in the list of objects so we might be able to add it without changing the map format to accommodate more than 255 types of objects. I've added it to the proposals list.
