Quite self explanatory. After seeing all the hatred of the marketplace, I was quite curious to see how the overall community felt about it. This isn't meant to suggest that the market should be removed/ changed. Like I said I'm just curious.
So how about it? Do you like having the marketplace around? Feel free to "show" what your vote was by leaving a comment!

I like the Market because it always bugged me to see that Stone or Gold deplete and ruin the whole game in SP. MP is a different story, but lets hear MP players opinion first-hand

Indeed. Currently, this game seems to be mostly focused on Multiplayer, so this poll should reflect upon that, respectively.

I voted yes. It speeds up the game, you just can keep building by trading stuff for trunks.

It's hard to say for me - at one hand it's speeding game as mentioned, but from second some trades are way too much abusable.

I voted "No" But this does not mean that I want to remove the market, I do not like the market in its current form. There should be a trade between the allies trade "with the ghosts" need to fix: increase the price though, would be a log.

That's exactly the kind of opinion I wanted. Like I said, I'm just wondering how people currently feel about the market, which is why you can change your vote

Most people complains about the trading "mineral -> trunk".
That's the origin of the whines.

I personally like Marketplace (voted YES).
*It's needed when playing in bad locations (too narrow/few trees).
*It's needed when you run out of stones/minerals.
*You don't want to have trees around your storehouse, but a more compact base.

im unsure of wether i like it,i def think its a great idea but its a little open to abuse.


i gues when i have to vote...i like the marketplace,just wish it could be used for allytrading(i know u guys r looking into a building for that)

I voted 'no' but I was actually in doubt what to vote.
You see, the marketplace in its current form is... well you know. However, I DO like the building and if its purpose would be changed it could be great.
I don't think this is a great poll, maybe the options should be a bit more diverse...

The poll is for the marketplace's current use. That is why you can change your vote. If the marketplace changes, than you can change your vote accordingly.

Wow, 51 votes already. That shows how many people read everything but don't say a word... Maybe I underestimated the size of our community here.

I was rather surprised, too! It's amazing how quickly we've grown in the pass year.

The marketplace is a very forgiving building in its current state. If you made an error during city building, you can correct it very easy and with little cost in the marketplace. So this is good and bad. It's good, because it's so very hard to play a perfect game without any mistakes. The marketplace helps you to get through in a decent way.
But on the same time it's bad, because it nerves the advantage of a very good town builder. So I'm really not sure what to say in this poll. Both Yes and No would fit.

People, you should always return to the basics... Marketplace main purpose is allowing a match to continue when gold/coal/stones are depleted. Carve that fact in your memory please...

And also that trade for trunks, is for not being behind those with lots of forest at start (bad designed locations).
