Dat bewijst niets. Een torrent kan een complete kopie van een originele CD zijn..

The patch by The Knight and The Barbarian is most likely 1.58 SR2, which was officially accepted by the creators of the game (it's linked to on the official KaM website and used in most editions that are sold online)

This patch should do no damage to your game, the Remake will still recognise it after that patch. So maybe your copy of the game was not properly installed before that patch?

As far as I understood he copied his old TPR installation from his old computer because he has lost access to the install disc. Therefore the game was not installed properly on his recent computer, hence the remake install problems.
