Just wondering whether this map will be updated for the 2nd release candidate (this weekend). There are areas near the players' storehouses that can't be built and only 100 food. It's ok if not, this won't be the public release or anything.

Hi there,

Behold, the last one is updated now. I've decided to go for a market anyway. I think otherwise it will be too hard to play in the next release.... BUT I've used the !BLOCK_TRADE code Lewin created recently. I don't know if other mapmakers used it already but it's a very nice new feature. With it you can decide which wares can be traded for in the market and which not. So thanks Lewin. The main wares I don't want players to trade for are tree trunks, skins and horses. I hesitated if food should be traded for so I've decided to only add wine to the market. The following wares are blocked in the market:

0 = Tree trunk
1 = Stone
7 = Gold
9 = Corn
10 = Loaves
11 = Flour
12 = Leather
13 = Sausages
14 = Pig
15 = Skin
16 = Wooden Shield
17 = Long Shield
18 = Leather Armor
19 = Iron Armament
20 = Handaxe
21 = Longsword
22 = Lance
23 = Pike
24 = Longbow
25 = Crossbow
26 = Horse
27 = Fish

So most of them are blocked, including all weapons, still it can be usefull to build a market. It's possible to trade for timber and wine for instance.

I've also fixed the terrain. Now that the stonemason use clever pathfinding it's not really needed to have those large rocks but I've decided to leave it that way since it also seperates players.

More food is also been added, you begin with:
30 sausages
40 loaves
40 fishes
80 wine

Great map and awsome idea(s)!
Played once and was really good.
I like the market set up:D Its very very funny. :)

I played north right side, depended very fast, the resources was more than enough, every resources locs is great position on the map. /Maybe you, koczis and TDL do it the best way/

Only one or two thing. This picture shows:
The norht side, mainly the centre player need to built tower total wide while the south loc ~2/3 of the total wide.
I built the road for the towers from centre of the map until the right side, and wasnt enough my help to him. But the other side(other team) had same problem, they couldnt defend every sides with towers. I think its impossible for the centre players, i think.
-north centre loc is very opened and maybe undefendable
-unblocked tower for the side players i think not the best choice with these options.

PS:maybe a hill on the yellow point equalises the locations.

hehe, yes thats also what I said but most of the people I playtested the map with said that nothern loc was better then southern loc so I left it as it was. The yellow mark on the picture was actually the place where I made tiles steep so troops couldnt walk through. I flattened it because some others said that the frontline wasnt wide enough. What I like to know from players is what do they think is easier, playing on location 1 (center-north) or loc 4 (center-south).
