It doesn't look much like a photograph to me. Where did you take it?
Lewin, Lewin ... ehh. I used to picture a few filters to make it more fabulous. I'm not saying that the old image is bad. Just my little suggestion for change. You can always change it after all. Lewin is in charge :D
No you misunderstand me, I meant at what location was the photograph taken? Was there a medieval fair or something? It's not that easy to take a photo of 6+ people dressed up in medieval gear with pikes, shields, etc. in a field. You said it's a photograph and you're a photographer, so I'm curious as to how/where you shot it. I understand that filters were used as after effects.

Also, I'm not "in charge", Krom and I discuss things equally together, and consult the community for opinions and ideas. Something as big as changing this would certainly need be discussed. I was just stating my opinion of your suggestion, not saying "this will never be used in the Remake because I'm in charge".

I see. Well I still think the original image is better/more suitable, but other people can post their opinions.

In other news, I've merged lines for AI players with the same colour in the singleplayer graphs:

That's much more logical to the player than seeing lots of black players each with separate lines the way it's done in the script. Thanks for the suggestion TDL!

You're welcome, it's much better this way. The icons look better now too. :)

Sorry for the late reply. The AoM timelines are pretty similar to the other ones posted, yes. Anyway, once again I think you guys have done a great job :)

(quoted from another topic, this bit is about the lack of importance of certain graphs/stats)
It's way easier to make 20 wooden shields than to make 20 horses, so it doesn't say that much to me either.
This should be changed then. What about counting the "weapons produced" in a way that gives additional points for army strength and/or resources used? So, for Axe/Bow/Lance/Leather Armor/any Shield, 1 point. 2 points for anything iron except Shield. 3 points for a horse. That'd give:
  • 1 for a Militia
    2 for a Bowman/Lanceman
    3 for an Axeman
    4 for a Crossbowman/Pikeman
    5 for a Swordsman
    6 for a Scout
    8 for a Knight
Someone might argue that some units give way too much points, but these are more economically demanding, and I'd prefer the stats to say much about economies of the players. But, of course, suggestions are welcome.

I had the same idea, mine was:
1 militia
2 lance/bowmen
3 axefighter/xbow/pikemen
4 swordfighter/scout
5 knight

But it's the same idea.

Hey!

Is that Possible to give new graphs to the stats? I dont know exactly are these necessary but maybe could be interesting. Who, when and how much units did kill, and when and how many trades did...

-Killed units in the time graph. (little same the lost units ggraph)
-Numbers of the trades on graps. (same the resources graph)

Been working on graphs this weekend. We decided to let compare players wares to each other, and also add few grouping graphs (everything together, warfare only, food only). Here's how it looks:

Yeah it looks really good.

Krom do you need some more pictures? :D

I could make a picture for "food" with all the food types in the same size like other pictures instead of this "?" :D ?

Looks nice. Maybe 'weapons' would be better than 'warfare'? (I'm guessing you chose for warfare because a horse is considered a 'weapon' as well; but I still think weapons is clearer.)
Oh and one more thing: I always like to compare how many different types of wares players have produced, will this be impossible with this new 'system'?

@Pawel95: Yes, that would be lovely. Thanks )

@TDL: Maybe we could include players in that list on the right as well? When you select ware you see this ware production by players, and if you select a player you see all his wares.

Thanks for this change. It will make the last part of match report more interesting.
Comparing economics between players is one of my favourite hobbies. :)
