Some "group of players" become more closer due to the Skype meetings.
I'm part of this group, which we talk often in the so called "Skype conferences".
So it mustn't be just that you are considered "average", is that you also aren't part of the Skype group.
The only positive thing I see in Skype is that people talks and analyzes stuff that happens in Forum, then we all opin.
We might laugh or complain about someone, and that is heard by everyone (different country accents).
However 1 thing for sure: Skype players try to play together, because is funny to comment stuff while you build your city, and then even more to bluff about defenses or real size armies. :p
Depending how many Skype players are connected, then the resting slots are filled with remaining "non-Skype" players.
In which often the strongest are chosen, tough I don't mind playing with weaker players too (if strenghts are well distributed).
Am I in favour with this hosting procedure?
Everything depends on who is the Host really... I'm the type that accepts everyone as a comrade-in-arms.
