Well... Music is one from my the biggest passion. I don't prefer any species. In my mobile phone I have Gregorians (who makes gregorian chant) and Iperyt (death metal). But I adore only 3 music bands:
-Junior Senior
Danish music band, who makes pop-rock music. Their the most famous song is "Move your Feet", but I like more "Itch U Can't scratch" and "Hip Hop a Lula". Unfortunately group stopped exist in 2008. Today Senior works with Lady Gaga and Junior has been join to "I Scream Ice Cream".
-Flyzzza (ФлайzZzа)
Ukrainian Reggae group. Outside Ukraine they almost aren't known. I like their music, because this makes me happy. My fovorite song is "Kolomyjka", but I also like "Sonce" and "Mother Said".
-Daft Punk
Music band from France. They make house music. They're known for their robot costumes. My favorite song? Of course "One more time"! I also like "Aerodynamic","Digital Love" and "Harder Better Faster Stronger". Last time they made soundtrack for "Tron: Legacy"

Of course I have more musicians who I listen. Renard (for "Arcadepunk"), Wada Kouji (He makes soundtracks for "Digimons", especially I like him for "Butterfly"), Skrillex ("Scary monsters and nice sprites"), etc., etc... Too many for one post.
My younger sister love them and she play their music pretty often. This is a reason, why I don't like them. Scary... Justin Bieber is a great star, but not a good musician, anyway I'm not one of his hater.I just don't listen him and I don't care when I see news about his life.

Daft Punk are the classics of the genre, and it's one of the bands that I consider fathers of electronic music as we know it today. And all the hype about Tron soundtrack was well-deserved, it was quite different from their previous works, but very good, maybe even the best of their recordings. I'd love to see their gig - unfortunately there's not much chance for that nowadays, they didn't have one since ~6 years I think

I guess it's my turn. I am in ~70% an electronic music guy and in ~30% rock/metal guy. It's somewhat logical then, that my favourite band is The Prodigy, since their music can be described as a blend of powerful, bassy electronic music, with raw power of electronic guitars. Best known in 90s for their hits like Voodoo People, Breathe, Firestarter, Smack My Bitch Up, later known also for Spitfire, Omen, and Take Me To The Hospital. If you like heavy music, you have to see them at a concert when you can. If you prefer chill out tracks, you might check out Climbatize, Stand Up or Narayan.

Worth mentioning are also Noisia, Bassnectar, Skream, The Chemical Brothers, (and finally some metal) Metallica, Rammstein and AC/DC.

I quite like FlyzZza. It reminds me of Leningrad, from Russia. My favorite song of theirs is probably "Мне бы в небо".
