Makes me think of the ice biome in Minecraft:

In KaM, I don't think it looks good though, but that is more personal because others are really liking it. Also, try to elevate your ice/water a little with brush 2-4 just so the game gives it varied lighting. That forest is....well quite bad. Look at one of Helracer's, To's, or The Dark Lord's forrests to see how to make them.

Hi I inmidialy worked on my part of the map and because it wasn't that big I already finished it. :D
The only problem i have is that if i want to upload the map in a attachemnet it say's it isn't allowed...

Dont't worry Killer, we can copy+paste your part I guess if it's simple... but mine needed retouches as everyone pointed.

Forest improved, glaciars improved, better lakes, mountain objects, and new idea (Trees made by 3 objects union).

@Ben: I don't think ice/water should have elevations. Images of real frozen lakes show they are as flat as my sister's chest.
Besides, flat ice makes elevated snow look prettier and stylish.

My Forest is on purpose a tactical Fog of Trees... Now with more tree types based on Thunder's request.
Is not "all walkable"... each tree blocks diagonals -> maneuvering is difficult.

You have to experiment more with the Editor's tools. "Only KaMlike" doesn't leave much room for innovations.

Of course ice is flat, do you think me that naïve? If you read my post again, you will see that I said it would give the ice better color (the game would light it differently).

I think to we should to open our mind in the map editing. There are lots of great and good idea whichs don't have drawing traditions.
This icepikes are absolutly okay, just think on the refrozened broken ice on the lakes or rivers. And it gives a dark wonder feeelings.:)

So I made esthetic changes based on the feedbacks...
Finally added a very modest "Ice lightning" considering Ben's proposal.

Created 2 new Trees combining objects and optical illusions -> Were used for remaking the 10% dirt part.
Now I feel my Section is ready... Killer go on (you can copy and paste your work in my map if everything fits).

I hope my "fog of trees" is now worth a 7/10 on Thunder's scale. :)
Please Kirelareus and Pawel... give this "Amazonas" more extension in your Sections.

Well...? I fear this project is dying despite good initial speed. Who's turn is now anyway...?
Apart from that, sorry Jeronimo, i love the icy spikes, but absolutelly despise the forest, not to mention you left it on the borders and now other mapmakers must deal with it xD

Anyways, wake this project up !

Thanks David for this part, nice job :wink: . I wrote to Killer on priv. If he does not respond within a week, will be removed from the list. Due to the fact that part of the map of Pawel95, is next to the Killer's part, I have request to Kirelareus, could you do your part now? :wink:

Thunder: I hope that somebody will join soon.. if not then maybe mapmakers who have already done their parts down before.
