Romo only 5 teams? not enough ;P
The point is that there are better maps than that of which you do fight ... No need to argue. In my opinion it should be a vote of at least 10 maps. Each participant will give his voice and would not be a problem. Let's be happy the next tournament. ^ ^
Well its only the decision of Zoltan and his team, to vote or not for maps

Thats the point. When someone doesn´t like some special map, he should
a.) be a man and play the map, because I also cannot see these mentioned 95%, and give this map a chance
or
b.) search for an other tournament, that fit´s perfectly into your favour maps
I´m also not joining the tournament, because I have collected really bad memories at Golden Cliffs but who cares? Just try to do your best or try a other tournament,
until you can´t really be sure that 95% of the players hate this map
Ah and my opinion about the gold, also: Who cares? When all players has the same amount of gold it is balanced! So I can´t see here a need to add more and @Luki I dont understand your argument, to need to have fix recources for at least +3hour games? When you should run out of gold after some hours, the enemy will run out also soon. When you are the only one, you did something wrong

Until ALL players have the same recources, its "nearly" same hard/easy for both teams. Btw why one player has 203 gold and the others only 200

As a participant in this tournament I will express my opinion. I think that "Across the Desert" should be the basic map in every tournaments like this one. This is very good map to prove that someone can really play this game. The amount of gold is small, so you must plan what kind of units you want to train in order to win. Tournaments are organised to prove yourself, that also means playing on the hardest maps.

he is very right
he says: "460 gold in total" on across the desert
lol this is way many usually you don't have time to to use up that 460 because you are lost or won until then

So I can scout to enemy base before peacetime and block the iron mines?
also what happens if someone decides to troll and put farms all over my town?

Tournament rules:
----------------------
- for every match the Maps and Locs will be given by random a couple of days before the match takes place
- for every match there will be 7 days to play it
- within that 7 days you can arrange a time that fits both teams
- of course you can have more matches within 7 days if possible
- each game must be played in 1.0 speed with 60 min peace time
- all tactics are allowed including labourers/workers rush/scout, tower spam, market abuse, etc...
So actually no rules. Really Zoltan and Mercenary this allows to scout with workers before PT ends - means i will know how big army and what exactly enemy will have after PT, each player will be able to scaut whole fighting area (most important thing), and iam not even talking about cheating with workers like fields in enemy base, building plans to block cities etc.

Hehe...I think there are only fair players, and we all know where is the border... anyway blocking parts of the enemy base is attacking his town's territory...Attacking under PEACETIME is unfair...and i really hope unfair players and their teams will be OUT;P

For example builders are not allowed to move out of their cities until end of PT. Its not allowed to block enemies city with building plans, no fields around enemy woodcutters. Tower spam is bad, noobish but ok market is needed so i dont see any problem here aswell.

How about legal scouting? And how do we exactly define it? "As long as you scout your team's zone ONLY, and not the enemy, it's legal"?

What goes for me - any scaut before PT end with builders is illegal. Even moving from my to ally city. So definition no moving out of city..

I think the best idea is to use rules from last tournament :
Gameplay rules
- you are not allowed to scout enemy bases with laborers during peace time
- you are not allowed to build towers if an enemy building will be in its range
- you have to set your autosave on
- manual save game is not allowed
- scouting from your base to your allies base with laborers is allowed
- if someone losing connection all players have to wait at least 2 minutes in hope for reconnect
- if someone was dropped, all players should immediately rehost the game - if this player isn't back in 5 minutes then, that players’ team will lose the game (in critical situation you still can appeal, try to contact a judge or send screens + replay)
- if someone left the game, that players' team will lose the game (you can appeal to a judge if for example an error has occurred)
Legal scouting is very important thing

I agree with Romo expect the last point. Sometimes someone's computer can broke or someone can turn off the aplication by an accident. When someone leave then we should make a lobby and wait 5 minutes for him.

Agree with Romo, and with Kamykos about last rule.
Since teammates will see if the Ally just ragequitted or really crashed down (dissapearing from TeamSpeak or Skype).
If in the term of 5-10 minutes he doesn't appear (no signs of life), the yes they lose the match (bad luck with the PC).
