Spoiler: the way I won this mission was very different, if I remember correctly I only used 1 group of lance carriers to assist my ally. However, it is very easy to sneak to the crossbowmen to the right/above your ally with 1 knight by sending one immediately at the start, but take a different route: go up instead of down.
Have fun on mission 14, I wonder which path you have chosen. (That sounds epic and deep!)

P.s.: is there a reason you are using the old briefings? I agree about the oddity of having to kill off the crossbowmen on the mountains. That's why I adjusted the briefing so it is explained in the briefing and you already know you have to do it and that it's a part of the mission.

I didn't realize that there were new briefings. I actually just discovered it today when I was thrown off by the very odd briefing for mission 14...made no sense lol
