I like Happy Hardcore/Nightcore, and maybe a tiny little bit of Hardstyle, but that's the closest to Hardcore as I'm going to get. I do like almost every other style of music out there, though (except most hiphop).

I'm rather a Avril Lavigne fanatic. I listen to her music only because I think she is by far the most attractive thing I have ever laid my eyes on :P
I even had my last birthday cake decorated with her. Here is a (rather poor quality) picture:

I also like Taylor Swift, Billy Joel, Phil Collins, and Hawk Nelson's old music.
I hate Rap, Death Metal, most Country, and others.
Actually I don't really like any genre. I just find a singer or band I like and listen to them. This is kinda true because even though I don't like country, I like Taylor Swift.

Lol wow!

I've never found another male Avril fanatic :P

Let me sum up a few things for you:

- I've got all CD's
- 1 DVD (Best Damn Tour)
- My desktop and laptop wallpapers are 95% of the time pictures of her
- I've been to 2 concerts
- I have a calendar (it was a gift)
- 3 posters

AND, like you, I once had a birthday cake with a photo compilation of Avril photos :P I don't have a picture of it, though :(

But unlike you, I listen to her music because I like it, not because she's just very 'hot' :P
Of course, there are songs I don't like, but most of it I really like :)

Of course I'm not a stalker :P

It's not as if I track her down or scary things like that. I'm just a big fan :) I really really like her.

Haha, that was a slight exaggeration my part. It started with that, but I like a lot of her music. My top ten favorites by her are:
1) Nobody's Home
2) My Happy Ending (I have a clean version)
3) Anything But Ordinary
4) 4 Real
5) Stop Standing There
6) Black Star
7) When You're Gone
8) Keep Holding On
9) Falling into History
10) Why

Of course, it depends on the day and how I feel, but that is what I think most of the time.
I don't have any of her CDs, but I have almost 50 songs by her on my computer, and I think I have you beat with the wallpaper.(Probably 99% Avril Lavigne, with 1% being Detroit Lions Wallpaper, which is my favorite professional football team) I was actually going to use an Avril Lavigne picture as my avatar, but you beat me to it

I haven't been to any concerts because some of her more popular music has a LOT of language and I would rather not have such lyrics stuck in my head  My uncle has been hinting at getting me tickets sometime though. I'd go if he did, but never otherwise.

I was going to buy a poster, and my brother was thinking about buying one for me for Christmas, but I didn't want any in the end because they wouldn't find my room's theme. (It is kind of an classy-old-style room)

Aaron Carter conquers Tenochtitlan with his voice!

Now, being serious, in general I listen to:
1) Videogames OST
2) Anime themes
3) Movies+orchestral
4) 80's/90's classics+pop

Examples of each type:

2) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JM8FdNV4zU
3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvuteGIuAbc

What else can I say... Enjoy?

Dang! I knew I forgot one. "Take Me Away" It's gotta be around 3... :P

@ Jeronimo
I like the Pharaoh soundtrack. Not sure about the game though. It was way easier than Caesar III but I liked Caesar III's setting more.
You ever here Morrowind's theme song? It's rather epic if you ask me:

I have Morrowinds soundtrack... I was going to put it as "example", however I guess it would be a obvious choice.
The Composer is Jeremy Soule, I have other works from him too... like Guild Wars series + Oblivion.

I also collect music from old games or variated genres...
Listen to this simple tune from Terminator for NES console: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceiKcf-yIaI
You might know the best Ending tune sequence from old games: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGf5xpaRIx8&

As you see, its amazing how some persons create wonderful tracks with the tools they have in hand.

In the subject of old game music, yes, some old music is quite impressive, considering what they had to work with.
I love some of Earth bound's music, for example.

The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time isn't that old, but it really had some of the most epic music ever.

For me, the best soundtrack ever created for a video game is the work of Stephen Rippy for age of empires 1,2 and 3, and age of mythology. This is really epic !
One of the best from these soundtracks :

They are many others, search a bit if you want more. I love almost all of the tracks from these soundtracks, it's incredible !
