Posted a slight update of the previous release candidate, RC2. The new thing mainly being here that the installers and files are compatible with the 2012 edition of the game.

Hi there,

I have dutch version of tpr. I have installed dutch version of service release 3. But I want to translate the menu language into the english.

I also have Sr2 english pathc. It can change the menu into the english. But I am not sure whether or not all Service release 3 features gone or not. Could you elebrote the issue?

I've got a report and now I checked it - the Polish RC2 installer seems to be broken. Every time it just reports that the game couldn't be found or other language version is present.

@Lewin: Yes, it was always like that.

It needs to be installed legally from CD or the installer from an online shop. Where did you get your copy of KaM The Peasants Rebellion? If it was copied or something then it probably won't work.
It could be some other problem, I just have to check this first because it's the most common issue when installing this patch or the Remake.

(know it wasn't addressed to me but it's still the same problem)
I used the same version as always - Polish, 1.53, retail. Had no problems with upgrading up to beta 7, only the latest RC can't see the game.

@kuba11100: I'm a bit confused because I just tested it myself and the Polish installer detects the game correctly for me. I did have to make some changes to the detection code to make the installer compatible with the 2012 edition though (which would explain why the previous installers worked correctly). I just can't see any real reason why it would fail in the detection process.
Have you had any other language versions of the game installed? Does a registry string called "Version" exist for you at "HKLM\SOFTWARE\JOYMANIA Entertainment\KnightsandMerchants TPR"? (it shouldn't)

Whoa... The registry string was right there. Wonder how did it get there, if I remember correctly I haven't installed any other version nor messed with registry before it happened.
Removing it of course solved the problem, thank you very much.

Are you installing the correct language version of this patch for your TPR version? As far as I know the patch will only work with the same language that TPR is in (and there will be a different patch provided to change the language). Otherwise I'm not sure what the problem might be, hopefully Litude can help you further
