New KaM Remake Demo r2411
I've always thought towers either hit (and kill) or miss (and not kill).
Certainly they can throw stones and fail to kill sometimes.

I have a new idea for the storehouse.
Sometimes I like having one of my storehouses filled with like 20wine but my vineyards are on the other side of the map and supplying to another storehouse.
The idea is to set a target amount of goods of a certain type in a storehouse. Serfs will try to fill the storehouse that needs a certain type of ware first.
So I set the wine stock target in storehouse A at 20 and the serfs will fill that storehouse first before starting to fill storehouse B again.
Also add "minimum", every time your storehouse gets below the minimum of a set ware you will receive a notification. This way it will be easier to manage your town.
For example, I want to build a bigger army but while doing this my food stocks are falling. If the food stocks go below the minimum you will receive a notification/message that the bread/wine/sausages/vis stocks are getting dangerously low.

I think all of this just kills the necessity of managing your town in such a way that everything runs smoothly.
In my humble opinion we shouldn't change KaM too much.
Also, my food storages are always low so I would get spammed all the time.

No because you can set your "minimum" or "target". If the stocks get below your set target it will send a message.I think all of this just kills the necessity of managing your town in such a way that everything runs smoothly.

Imagine you set 'loafs' to a minimum of '10'. So, after a while, the number of loafs reduces to 9. You get a message ("You are low on loaves", or anything). Well, then you bakery fills your storehouse to 11 loaves. But at the same time, 3 people are eating at the Inn. Your loaves reduce to 8. You get the same message you just had.. And again.. and again.. etc.

in the remake i never have any food problem. in my opinion they made the units too 'unhungry'. or maybe i just became a lot smarter since i played the original game.
By then i was around 10 i think and now im 18
Also, I feel like iron units are a little bit too strong in comparison to the original. Leather units stand no chance unless you massively outnumber your opponent. It feels like melee is too strong too. Units die very fast in melee, way faster than in the original. Or something like that. It's hard to put my finger on it but combat feels a little bit different.

In that case you'd make messages only appear every min or so.Imagine you set 'loafs' to a minimum of '10'. So, after a while, the number of loafs reduces to 9. Myself, I've never needed such a feature. I think KaM's all about managing your town; your economy (and military of course). I constantly check my storehouse for its contents to see what I need or don't need. That way you'll play way more effectively..
This has nothing to do with the insides of a storehouse, but id rather have a storehouse with multiple entrances. later in the game serfs are massing around it and are waiting on their turn to enter the building.
