We found quite a few bugs in that build that I fixed them and made another. r5971 also fixes the problem with languages like Polish and Hungarian where the text was showing Russian characters instead of the correct ones.

This is super duper fast i think we will get the next KAM remake in 2014 feb at this rate or march 2014

The bug with beacons and battle alerts disappearing immediately still exists in this nightly build, but it will be fixed in the next one.

Noticed strange thing: AI makes solo soldiers and doesn't link them to another group:

Strange, even if there is no available group to link... shouldn't AI just stop to train soldiers of certain type?

Thanks for the bug report, I fixed it. There was a mistake in choosing the position to send the new soldier to. Yes you're right, they will only train soldiers if they have a position for them.

I hope it´s ok that I post found bugs in that topic and not in the bug topic, because its about the current nightly also :mrgreen:

Me as international bugfinder have collected a list, but some bugs have to been watched from me at some games.

Here are current fix found bugs:


*Watch the goldicons in the School: Somehow it looks weird :P
*There are bridges out of wood in kam. I placed some troops on it(knights or pikes in my game) and the shadow began flackering :D Like they would have some render problems, looks strange xd
EDIT: Also saw that render bug on normal "bridge terain", but only when the soldiers looking to the right side / to the east :D
*When the chatbox is open and someone writes sth, sometimes the number of new messages is still poping out in red. In old version this number was only showed, when the Chatbox was closed,while getting a new message

There is a bug that I fixed causing something called "z fighting" where the sprites jump in front/behind each other repeatedly. I've mostly noticed it with trees but it could happen for soldiers too. Or are you talking about something else? Is it something you can make a screenshot of?

1) Yes, he speaks of that, it also happens to every kinds of soldiers. Especially scouts and knights.
2) When you are in a MP game in the nightly, and someone writes a message while your chatbox is opened, the red number will be shown continuously until you click on the sign (so by pressing Esc and then Enter it isn't solved either, at least for me).

1) Great, well that's fixed now :)
2) Hmmm I am able to reproduce the issue where pressing enter to open the chat (instead of clicking) does not clear the red number (I fixed that), but apart from that the number never appears for me while the chatbox is open.

Some bugs in Map Editor:

1) Place a house, add resources to this house. Resource images won't appear in +/- row:

Select the placed house, and images will appear:

2) Flag color is always pink for units images when you create a new map and don't select a player in a row on top:
