i would not be that sure about who wins the first place yet
we all are humans :D there are no ufo-s amongst us as i know :D
everyone has a chance to win
everyone could make mistakes in a kam match even the best players

Well my money is on I.G. Romek is often considered the best but I think that Pizza is at least a close 2nd. Now with these guys on the same team? It's crazy. Add Matt's rush to Pizza's and Romek's huge bases, and you're in for a terribly difficult game.

Without Revolution, Beer also has little chance. Maybe if I.G. is having a bad day.

But crazy things have happened! I hear that some noobs can get lucky on Golden Cliffs in 1v1, so you never know :wink:

rush is only 1 strat. i don't always rush .

I have some questions:
1. How will you randomize groups, maps and locations?
2. I have an idea for 3 place and 4 place you can make a separate tournament ladder, it's similar like in powah tournament.

I disagree for a towers limit, every tactic should be allowed. For every map you need different number of towers.

Yeah having a tower limit sounds like a bad idea indeed. We've never used it before, so why start just for this tournament?

HAHAHA nice one :-)


Btw about the high differences of skill in the tournament. I think its sure who will be in the final, you need 3 average - good player to have a chance, but when only one guy will have problems in your team, you have like 0 chances to reach the (half-)final. Sorry for my direct opinion but you can really win :D

Wow. Russian Army is quite large. What if the tournament final is all RA players? They're all going to have a civil war or something :P

That forces for a market early use, and a slow game if rush fails.
Besides locs are very irregular, since it's original and not any of To's versions, you see that loc 3 is the worst because of the little space and arid terrains.

My recommendation is to replace Across the Desert for some "improved version" (after all, participants can download it from here), or add "The Torn Empire", which is a 3v3 great map for maneuvers.

To's version of across is f%$£ng IMBA stuff.
it is made incredibly easy and simplified too much.
Last time I checked on the previous tournament no one complained about across.

The "challenge" of building on the map is gone on To's modfic. of across, and anyway what To did is his good'ol solution that he used on his other imbalanced maps such as back in the desert, he overkills resources which makes each location totally imbalanced and therefore somehow equal to the neighbouring locations. and I don't like that, and would rather not promote or play To's version of Acrosss.

This is true, I was there in the powah tournament. Golden Cliffs/Wilderness were the most chosen maps.

Respect Across... Any version that at least adds additional gold for mountains or makes loc 3 less horrible is ok.
And "The Torn Empire" is good map, just wonder why wasn't considered in the Map List.

That RA version is bad. So many fish in lakes... so many food in storehouse and that barbarians...!? You can easy ignore bread and go only for pigs/horses. Most of players want to remove map i think because they cant use the same strategy what they can use on other maps... In my opinion it is very good that on some locations you need to use brain to make your base working well. I hate brain dead maps where all you need to do is spam buldings everywhere. I can agree that some locations have problems here but still it is not big deal. For example loc 3 : I played last time on that map and my opponent from [D12]Team make quite nice base here without any problems :

The russian Across is a terrible fix, it doesnt fix anything, it makes everything imba.
and that fish.. those barbarians.... its just too much.
