We were planning to improve storm attack at some point, since it's not very useful at the moment (especially in multiplayer with lag). Some way to aim it better would be nice, increasing the distance a bit and reducing variation in distance (that's a separate topic, feel free to start a thread about it). After that we can think about making the AI use it.

I think it's still useful for some lols
At the moment, it is still practical for chasing down routed archers, catching enemy groups in bad position, and wasting tower stones; however, it is easy to misuse. Verily, I've never seen a random use storm attack properly. When you see a random using storm attack, you know you're going to win the battle

yeah storm attack needs improvements...
Less distance variations would be cool. For example, 12+-2 tiles for iron and 15+-2 tiles for leather army?
AI needs normal storm attack anyway. How stupid looks swordmen group which is trying to catch our bowman and can't do this...

I think the map editor need a delete map button next to the load button. And the replay viewer could also have a delete button.

The reason why we didn't have a delete button on the replay viewer is because some people might not know that replays and saves are the same files, and deleting the replay will also delete your saves (someone might think "I don't need all of these singleplayer replays, I'll never watch them" and not realise they are deleting all of their saves). Maybe we can make it work if we change the confirmation: "Deleting replays also deletes the save. Are you sure you want to delete this save?"
Deleting from the map editor menu (main menu not in the map editor) sounds good, I'll put it on the todo list (does Andreus want to send a patch?

).

how about we name the button delete replay/save because it will warn people unless they do not read. it is quite annoying if you clear your folder of 10+ replays and you get a confirmation screen every time.

I didn't think about this problem, but it is also in the game now. The single player save list menu has a delete button, which also deletes the replay. I would solve it by removing the replay viewer menu, and only a save games menu would exist. And there you would be able to select load (if it's single player), delete or replay. It would indicate that there is no replay, only a game save that you can replay.

An idea. What if there was a way to render a nice looking screenshot of an entire map by the game itself, instead of having to do it manually with use of image editing software?

@sado1: You mean like a button in menu "Save entire map as BMP" that will export whole map without menus and such into a bitmap?

Yup. BMP isn't my format of choice, but if it's easier to code it so, then ok. Just something to avoid having to zoom out the map then take 2 screenshots and join them in GIMP/Photoshop. Also, although optional for me, some kind of screenshot support in the game/replays won't hurt, but might be less necessary.
