Yes, and who runs and maintains the server? Whos cares about security? We don't want to end up like Sony where some random hackers come by and steal all mail adresses. Online security is difficult to achieve. AoE have a huge company in the background and enough money to maintain such systems. KaM Remake does have neither of both
I agree. There's absolutely no way we'll be able to guarantee a flawless user system.
Also, I don't like the idea to register once more. The many systems where you have to register and remind your password is already the pest of the internet.
That's why password vaults were invented.
I don't think, too many players have to equal computers that they play with. Maybe we should start a poll?

Yes, but this does not prevent others from abusing their (or even your) name. And if they only have to register a new account, then there is only a minimum barrier.
This is true. Although it's not happening yet, it's just waiting for the first frustrated player that thinks: "Wouldn't it be awesome if I'd play under Lewin's name

". There needs to be a way to protect player names. Right now, the only one I can think of is an account system..

Hey!
Some ideas from my last game.
Recruits management:
Last time i had to create 2 barracks because i had huge traffic jam next to the first. I trained the units fluently. That was gg, but once i trained 30units at the same time and those units were coming out more than 5minutes...:S So i decided to seperate the barracks to one leather and one iron barrack. How could we separate the recruits without lot of clicking. I though on some kind of delivery bars. For example every third unit go to the firs iron barrack...
Disable recruits from the towers button as fell only function in the woodcuttershoue. Press this and the recruits leave the house.
Food management:
Inn. I posted it already more times what if the player would like to separate foods in the inns, or would like to trade with them?
Disable foods in the inn. I think this could be usefull.
One inn has sousage only, the second only fish and the third only bread. I think then less starvtion will be there.

While you're saying about food, it reminded me.
Anyone else is annoyed when, for example, serfs bring materials to the site and it's canceled so they just throw thoir stuff away? Same with feeding troops, if a soldier die in any way the seff is just: 'meh... screw it' and throws the wares away instead of just taking them to the storehouse.
I don't even mind it from game-economical point of view since it's rare and the loss is very small, I'm just annoyed about the situation, it looks bad.
