First match in a long LONG time
And... you were both low on food

EDIT: HOLY SHIT IT WAS YOU?
I just noticed that it was you lord stronghold

MORE EDIT:
I KNEW IT!
I should have send a group of 5-10 militia to the space between your camps and then attacked you.

Watched the replay and my conclusion is that you and your brother need to "update" your strategy to todays speed

Don't have to tell me that, I watched the replay myself.
Also, I have never played the position I was that moment and I forgot to build my 3rd stonemason early.
I'll just go ahead and say this, but my brother doesn't like the new way of playing. He dislikes the idea that people can win without having to worry about food.
That is also why I would like to have lower amounts of starting food.

One thing (you've seen the replay) 3 stonemasons isn't enough normally, 4-5 is the standard now.

Your brother has a point, but you can play about the same as them without having food problems.

I did some measurements in TPR and found we gave units too much starting condition. They now start with about 12 minutes (33%) less before they need to eat. I think this will make food production more important especially at the start. We'll see how it goes in the next demo.
I agree that it's silly when food production isn't necessary in multiplayer, that's a major part of KaM.

I knew his soldiers lasted too long. I continued watching after I was defeated and his soldiers lasted pretty long.

I agree about issue of food production) food before iron - that was a good term of origin TSK.

Yes, GWB, it was me^^ Christmas tournament will live in our hearts forever, and nevermind that it was canceled :D
I should have send a group of 5-10 militia to the space between your camps and then attacked you.
I had troups in my barracks in that case) remember, when I noticed your militiaman in my town, I send a knight to kill him)

I think he had troops ready since he kept making recruits and axes

yes, I think that invasion of small GWB`s troups of militia did not turn the game to their victory) However if Andreus had no recruits in his barracks - I could send help to him)

I saw the replay too with my brother, and i "surprised" to see how you played.

It as something NOT NEW, that weapons have to be made first, and then FOOD.

The food that you have starting the game can last 40 50 minutes, so, whats the points of making food since minute 25/40 ? when i saw you making 4 farms i said "Mhm he is gonna mass leather/wood units" like lotss of archers and spears and axeman.. and what did you made??? WINDMILL and BREAD, and then ,Wines???? man you lost 15 minutes doing unnecesary things; it was not your first online to say "i didnt knew that here you make first weapons and then food" however we see the results...

And, sending 5/10 militias?? man, what is that? in 60 i can have 60 axes if necesary, i make 30/40 militias when pt ends, and have 20 in reserve; your 5/10 (that was 1/5 of your total army) would be dead only by my reserve.

This is a little distrunbing for my, i admit that i dont like the fact that me and Vortex where not able to, and in ower place, you will play with your brother, you said "first game in a long time", so, you will play a "powa" tournament, out of practice and an obsolet strategy??

PS: it IS posible to make food and weapons , but you cant do it with only 2/3 stonemasson... or less than 20 workers or less than 60 servants, so i do understand what you say that is not very atractive a game in wich players make only soldiers and his people die, well, that happens to players that havent "mastered" their strategy to play, because like i told, it is posible, VERY POSIBLE to have a big army, and food production.. you will need 4/5 stone masson 30 workers 80 servants 6 woodcutters, 3 sawmill and market, buildings that you did not have in that game, or any game you played..

So, i will sit like a fool watching how you loose in the first round in the tournament in an opportunity that could be mine.

I feel very sorry for you that you can't play the tournament.
And by the way, there is a life out there that is pretty demanding and doesn't leave me with a lot of time that can be wasted on leavers and stuff.
And I am sorry that I do not play to win, I play to have fun... Try it, it's fun.
