Wow, maps look really awesome now, great work!
At the moment i try to find some bugs, maybe I find some...

Copy/Paste does not work correctly! I copy terrain, paste it into a new map. The high is correct, but the width is much to big!

Nothing else find till now

Oh, I forgot to add a piece of code to disable copy/paste buttons when opening original KaM maps. Don't worry though, copy/paste code didn't copied data from original maps anyway thanks to internal double-checks
Thanks for quick response :)

Now it's fixed and reuploaded under same name.

It is great! Thank you for releasing it so early! It took me a few minutes to find out how the copy/paste works, but that is only 0,5% compared to the time it would have taken me to do it with quage's editor.
The shades are great as well. Looks much more like the game.

My only ''complaint'' is about the buttons - why have you placed things like high/flat under ''advanced''? I do not think it is hard to use or so. :P I liked the spot where they were placed in the previous editor more.
The wires look also better, by the way.

And one more thing - are the objects fixed (those flowers and mushrooms)?

Great work!

And sry, not many time, but could you give me your editor icons, that i can it enlarge for you? you only need graphics reader, you know...

@TDL: I'm happy you like it :)
I removed as many buttons as possible to enlarge map view. Maybe I will add a line of swithces/icons later.
Flowers/mushrooms should be fixed, I'm not entirely sure, didn't had time for extensive tests.

@TheKnight: features/changes are listed in readme.txt included in archive. All-in-all editor became nicer and got copy/paste.
Sorry, I don't understand what you write about icons. Do you want me to find icons I need and you will scale them for me? My problem is to "find" those icons (for example I don't know what to draw on Relief icon)

TheKnight, that's not my case. You got me wrong.

I need to obtain icons to place on tabs in Editor. I know TPR has many icons in resources, but there are 2 issues:
a. There are no suitable 32x32px icons in there as far as I know. Sure there are plenty of items and plenty of small icons, but they can't be used without more or less tweaking (rescaling, repainting, retouching).
b. I don't say that I can't do it myself. I asked you for help, to find suitable icons and tweak them if you can. If you don't want to - just say so.

If that is all you can help.. Thanks :)
As I wrote on page 10 I will need to rescale/repaint them around twice bigger(20x20 -> 36x36).

Hi Krom,
Nice! This version works really well. I like the way I can use terrain brushes next to walls without it destroying them, and now you can see what tiles it will change.
Copying/pasting does not work correctly! When I try to paste it this is the probelm: the left, top and bottom are at the correct spot, but the right is not. It goes to the edge of the map (not to where I want it to go to) Just try copying a section in the middle of a map, you will see that the right edge does not work at all. Oh, and when I click Copy, the check box becomes enabled. But when I then select the area and click paste, the checkbox does not Disable. This means that the editor still thinks it is in copy mode, but I am also pasting. Another way to find this bug is to click copy, then click on one of the brushes, you are no longer copying but the checkbox is still ticked. Still, it's great!
I agree with the dark lord, it is hard to use wires etc. now they are under a menu. The object tab is easier to use now, great! Also, thanks for removing the silly "Falling" trees. I sometimes selected them by mistakes, and then had to fix it later when I saw them falling and standing up again in the game. (although I did think of having a mission with "The magic forset" of trees that keep falling down )
Yes, making a mission editor is so complicated! So many comands and stuff. Although for the moment opening and saving .dat files would not be needed, just make a village (buildings, road and fields) then copy and paste commands into another editor.
Oh, and your new site looks great! (although I already saw it) The old one was harder to use. BTW: there is a big sign at the top saying: banner here, I assume you mean to fix that.
Keep up the great work,
Lewin.
P.S. I am working on buildings on the map! I have storehouses loading! (actual images, not outlines) Now I must do the rest, and make it work better.... I will post a screeny soon once it looks nice. (with roads and buildings, I hope)

There seems to be an error opening the help file. I can open it manually, but when I click it in the editor, nothing happens.

I like the square tool. It's much easier to create fortresses with this one.

Yeah, I get this errormessage, too. Should be no problem for you to fix that
The icon's TK posted here are okay for your editor, I think, just a few are not THAT necessary, so I haven't got a problem if you leave them out.

Hm, do you know how long it will take to make this city-planner (at least)? I don't wanna have an exact date

Wieso versteht mich nur nie einer!
Wenn du deutsch redest versteht dich wenigstens schonmal einer

Version 0.4b can be downloaded from here: http://krom.rscsites.org/index.php?t=misc

Copy/paste bug should be fixed now. It's setup appeared to be quite complicated and I overlooked few spots.

Help file launch fixed aswell.

EDIT: Forgot to mention "banner here" message is made by intent for I didn't painted my new banner yet

City-planner .. It depends on how much features I want to put in there before release.
DAT parser is done, so far it "catches" roads and houses, but including other tags is very easy aswell (if line='!SET_CURR_PLAYER' then do something).
House/roads placement is done. Exporter to text file is a matter of 5minutes. Everything else is still to do.

If there's any special interest by your side - I can prioritize some things and release a beta.
