How do you conclude that KaM soul will be killed? Please explain to us, maybe we are wrong

Mh, I don't know, because I hates destroying my favorite game with hacking tools. I wouldn't touch the map files, no time!

Well the thing is, using Map2Pro this has already been possible and I haven't heard of anyone complaining that someone cheated online or that people only modify the original maps. Though I'm not too keen on the idea to allow editing stock maps to be honest (most other games don't allow it either), the protection needed to prevent people from doing that would and has resulted in unnecessary complications, so I voted yes.

But TK, you still haven't given an explanation. You strongly feel that the original maps should not be edited, but when we ask why you reply that that is how you feel (it also sounded like we were being dense in not magically understanding your thoughts). No offense, but if this were a debate, then you would have no points.
Surely there is a reason that you feel this way?
PS: if I may suggest a feature for the map editor - copy/paste of things (most importantly: heightmaps for a selected part of the map) would be extremely cool! (I know it's hard to make though)

Well, remember about whole new campaigns being created for KaM - they replace whole set of maps - still KaM is alive and in fact becoming more interesting to re-play it once again
TPR killed KaM soul in some ways, still I heard of no complaints and vows to burn it
I'd say fundamental flaw is that we need to replace stock maps to be able to play new ones. If that were fixed then nobody would need to "hack" stock maps with "cheats" or whatever.

And this is why I say, make your own remake with single map support instead of making tools, which hack maps etc

We'd still need a tool to make the new maps though

And changing stock maps for that makes it look more like KaM.

Anyway, I see 7 votes for and only one against.
And I see no good explanation of "against" vote..
Guess what comes next

I couldn't give my vote in this poll. There's no VOTE-button! -.- So I say, that the vote looks into my brain and see, that I am contra to this editor feature. The poll blocks my VOTE-button and sucks me! I hate this poll machine! :x

Krom made the poll end after 30 days, but he did count in the final result:
Anyway, I see 7 votes for and only one against.

So I see krom was also in my head! this is a cruel complot!

Litude is right. I did the poll only for 30days, thats enough for anyone really involved in KaM to see the topic and participate. Besides as mentioned - TKs vote is counted, but lacks argumentation..
