Forum site down

The last couple of months I attempted to log onto the forum to ask some questions about Kam the but site told me that the forum was down for an unknown period of time. I was just curious as to why this occurred and how long was it for as it had probably been going on for some time before I noticed it.

Re: Forum site down

The forum was disabled on purpose. I have been looking quite some time now for someone to take over this website and its services but so far I haven't found anyone to do so.
That probably means that unless this will change, KaM.net will fully cease to exist in the near future. Although I do think that would be a shame.

Re: Forum site down

What exactly needs to be done by A person who wants to take over the website and forum? How hard is it to maintain?

"KaM.net will fully cease to exist in the near future" - what kind of times we are talking about - days, weeks, months, years?

Re: Forum site down

They only have to contact me and convince me that they are the right person to run this website. It will be a lot of work because everything is outdated and a lot of stuff needs to happen (implement https for example), but once that is done it's easy to maintain.

I do not have a better estimation than 'the near future'.
