First MP map: Garden Eden (8P)

Hey Guys,
so this is my first multiplayer map and i guess my first in general. It is called Garden Eden beacuse of the beatiful landscape in the center of the map. As a reminder this is my first map and it may be inbalanced but i tried my best. Up vs down for best experience ;). The specai about this map is that there is one location on each team which has further iron then others. But therefore +1 laborer at beginning. In addition there is one loc on each team which is more open and needs to be defended by his teammates.
EDIT: pls tell me if its imbalanced or anything else about this map. :)

Re: First MP map: Garden Eden (8P)

Hi Harry,

I guess not as bad map fist time.
I would recommend few things:
-Coalfields. I guess too random and not really smothie.
-few river's and hill's edges are too straight.(sharp)
-I know t is Eden (Éden) but probably using lots of objects at some places. Can be annoying.
-personally i dislike the rndom Earthquake tiles.
-Few of your hill could be more smother not as like the hot water-boiling.
-on few locations used the uncuttable trees where players would use the woodcutters.
These are tiny things and easy to fix.

Anyway I found lots of cool things as like the waterfalls and the pine trees usage what is very rarely. The bridge what you made on the left is too perfect. Category A+. Are you an arhitech?

So shortly:
Coalfields, uncuttable trees, elevations.

Once again good map at first time!

Hi thunder and thanks for your fast reply! I'm glad that my map isn`t a complete disaster. haha :D i will try to fix it as soon as possible. But i have a questions
-personally i dislike the rndom Earthquake tiles.
what do you mean by that? I guess you mean the "ruins" tiles of destroyed buildings?
-I know t is Eden (Éden) but probably using lots of objects at some places. Can be annoying.
I know yes but when i dont use that much it feels so empty for me.. I guess its just because i am the creator of the map and think like "i need to add more of these" :D
nyway I found lots of cool things as like the waterfalls and the pine trees usage what is very rarely. The bridge what you made on the left is too perfect. Category A+. Are you an arhitech?

Haha Thank you! Well it took quiet some time and i redid it like 5 times but it went good at the end :D

Re: First MP map: Garden Eden (8P)

Earthquake tiles are those of "cracked green grass" (it shows brown dirt of different tones).
As Thunder stated, less objects would make Eden look better, for example removing the many big stones objects.

I personally prefer having stronger Power Locs-> I would add +2 serfs, +1 laborer and +5 of every food.

Now comparing both starts, Common Locs would have 4 serfs/3 laborers while Power Locs 6 serfs/5 laborers with +20 food to help feeding the faster population growth curve due accelerated construction (faster school, faster economic set up, etc).
Keep the 10 extra stones (70) which go well with having a start of 5 laborers.

What about a screenshot for people who are too lazy to download it?

This might include me.
