Re: Buildings ratio, unit values, fighting...

btw cant understand how to use "production chains" table :(
Fill one of the boxes with a number, and the program fills the connected ones with the optimal number of buildings that would keep fully busy or would be kept fully busy by that many houses.
Is the tool opensource?
I don't know... it's unlicensed and its source code exists on my hard disk only, but if you'd like to get it you only have to ask. :P

Re: Buildings ratio, unit values, fighting...

Maybe it could live on the github, for example? :-)

Ok, I *think* I managed to upload it to GitHub. Well, the code at least.
(Haven't figured out how to upload the images and the icon yet)

(I've also cleaned up the code a bit)

Re: Buildings ratio, unit values, fighting...

Nice, thank you!

I see you use a LOT of magic numbers through the code ;-)

Well, the program is pretty much just a collection of data from the game with a little GUI around it... :$

Did you notice the object names? That's definitely not because I'm too lazy to change them from the default value. Most definitely. Absolutely. :P

Re: Buildings ratio, unit values, fighting...

Did you know that, upon compiling the code, Lazarus attached 13 MB of debug info to the exe file?
I didn't. :$

Without that baggage, the tool can actually be uploaded to this forum without problems...

I imagine you'll have some stories. When should I expect you? Or is that unknown? ;)
