New 6p map

Hello!,

I have been working on my first serious Mp map for a while and I want to show the first version of it to you.

somethings you need to know:

- It's my first map so it's not the quality of maps from the best mapmakers
- the map isn't finished, a part of the center of the map and the 2 of the south locations are almost completed (but need some little changes) 1 of the north locations is worked on the other locations i do have to work on.
- I don't have a name for the map yet.
- the mountains of the center location in the north are not good at the moment but i am working on that.

Well as i said it's my first try to make a serious map so I would like even though this is just a part of the map (version 0.1) to get already some feedback so I know if it's worth to continue making this map.

First Tip:

Put screenshots of the whole map and of certain parts of maps in your post. More people will like to play the map if they see the map already here. Less people will download it "only" to see if it´s a troll map or actualy a good mp map for example

No, just a joke but I tryed to made screenshots, but I am very bad with computers and even when dicsoupcan explained to me I wasn´t able to make them correctly so maybe I will add them if I will figure out how to make them

As for now it looks pretty good . I'd like to see it when it's finished. I really like that jungle-like theme in the middle.

Why do you set top left loc as player 11? Now it's displayed as 11p map, which is VERY misleading .
Don't you think the amount of starting food is too low? Especially fish (there are no ponds nearby) and sausage. But maybe it's just me...

My suggestion: that gold mountain near loc 5 (the one at right) would look nice as a cliff .

oh well i didn't looked at the locations which I picked so i will change that for sure!
I will think about what you said about food, I don't know if it'sto less maybe i will add some sausages because i haven't planned to add many fish on the map
I will look at the gold mine!

Stating food is workable for sure. In fact, I think the food is quite high. "Low food" on locations without fish would be 60 wine, 30 loaves, 15 sausages, 20 fish imo

Hi all,

I worked alot on my map last days so i am posting version 0.2 now of my map .
I made the 3th loc in the south, made some progress in the center of the map, and i made some little changes to the other 2 locations in the south

( the hill in the middle of the map isn't finished but I don't know yet what to do with it so I know that's looking awfull atm)

It's my first serious map so if you can give me some advice that would really help me

Good to see progress . Especially middle looks good.

Few tips for now:
You could make that big coal fields near loc 1 and 2 more interesting. Not just straight, some different shape (like the one at 133:130 or 74:39).

Semi water tiles are not walkable if made by brush (btw. isn't it a bug?). To make them walkable, place tiles manually (121-123).

I know about the water tyles, the thing is, i ahven't payed mutch attention at that for now, but when the map is finished i will make some walkable and some unwalkable so you will have more points to attack

Hey all,

I worked quite alot last week and there is quite a huge difference now, no jungle anymore, I know some of you liked it but I think it will look nicer if i will put other types of ground there.
