REMAKE and 1.60 path.
Does REMAKE has something to do (related) with patch 1.60 (SR3)? Are these two separate, unrelated productions?

These are unrelated things. SR3 Patch is for old KaM.
KaM Remake uses data/missions/texts from SR3 patch, so basically that means that Remake has most of SR3 patch updates. In other hand KaM and Remake are quite different, especially when it comes to AI. What that means is that some improvements made in SR3 are specific for KaM and might not work as well in Remake.
