Why do you support the other NL site???

Hi, this is what makes me sometimes a bit angry...:

Why do you support a site that hasn't had any updates for over 3 years now (I mailed the webmaster, and he said me that KaM doesn't interest him anymore, so there aren't going to be any updates)...

And the text with the 'kam.vanmeijeren.nl' link (thank you for the link! :D ) says that there isn't much content... We certainly do have MORE content then the other website... So I don't understand...

--> Other KaM site is: http://members.lycos.nl/knightandmerchants

I hope you understand this is not an attack on you, (certainly not)

But I do hope you want to change the link info.

Thanks,

Hugo

As I don't speak Dutch it's quite hard for me to judge site content. I think I just checked how much text there was written. But to be fair, I actually thought the link at the index page went to your website. I guess I'll soon have to do a major update onto my website (updating HTML sites is so slow...)

Ofcourse I understand it, and I don't blame you.

TK started with this I'm afraid... He said there was little information on my site, and many 'this page is under construction' notices.

And well, he was right. Because my old site, didn't work in Firefox, and as I only use Firefox, I thought it had to be changed. Then I got some webspace on a VDS (I own the complete VDS now), so it was time for a new site, and it had to be done quick.

But as you know, site development doesn't stand still. When TK looked at my site, it indeed showed some 'under construction' notices, but that's a long time from now...

Right now I'm working on another new site, completely with CMS system...
For the moment on a test server: http://www.vanmeijeren.nl/cms/

But when it's finished it will replace the other site, with even more information....

So that's why I made this topic: why supporting a site which has ver, very little visitors, (last message on their board was I think some months ago, and I can now, I'm the admin of that board, because the maker of it, doesn't interest KaM anymore)....

And yes, you're quite right, that our forum is very active, we get often something like 50 new posts a day...

But I think the right has been justified.
