New scheme

I'm just gonna say it right now I hate the black. Can you please changed the color scheme of the site? Cause honestly right now it sucks. Maybe change it to like a picture of a map from K&M?

I don't think it is possible to have a picture as the background, and that would take more time loading.
If a KaM screenshot is not possible then I quite like black. I am used to it now and I wouldn't want it to change to another colour. I think the image at the top left should defiantly change.
Anyway, if you want to change it then click on profile at the top, and then scroll down until you find "Board Style" and then choose the other one. (it is silver) That way you can have that and I can have black.

try this. it i s possible for all users to choose their own style (loaded onto the phpbb by the admin) and then all can have whatever they want. it seems that the user controll panel has been removed from this forum. look at the forum

there all can change the forum to look like you want it too. the user dsavi (now on this forum too) has made a style that you can use. yeah, i know nothing about this so it's him (below) you should all ask.

Actually, all of my forum styles are for the newest version of phpBB, 3.0.1/2. Unfortunately the phpBB development team completely rewrote the phpBB codebase between 2 and 3, so it's not portable.
I'm loving the subBlack though.
It's where I got inspiration for most of my forum styles.

Oh and by the way, the User control panel, is, again, only in phpBB3. In phpBB2 it's the link at the top at the page, "Profile". I noticed that subSilver is also installed.

Well I guess we are not changing the background (whew) I really love the black one, and I really hope it doesn't change. (I always hate changes in webpages!)

Honestly, I have quite grown tired of the mess of having a bunch of frames on the site so I've been toying around with the idea of making a new layout. Not sure if I'll get anything nice done though. I'm also quite tired of having a quite black (much better than the old one which was completely black) website because it somehow at least to me gives an impression that the site is dead.

Well, I like black very much so if you're going to make a new layout, could you leave this black forum style as a second option?
I select always black to background colour if application allows it, e.g. NoNameScript. I'm also planning to replace the original Xp Luna theme with
this custom-made Royale Noir
Black rules.

Well I like the black one also, but when I watch to the half dead german forum, where noone posts anything, but they still have like every half year a new layout, i want to see sth else maybe also
What about a temporal chagement? Like for the winter time, not only the KAM Logo with snow, but also a coldy blue/white theme, that will change back to the black after winter is over for example?
I know its a bit of work, but this themes could be used next year again for example

There will be some customization in the near future (around December), but no, we're not going to install a completely new blue/white theme just for a month.

you can also have this board in a silver layout if you want to though, just like lewin said go to your settings.
