Hello,

I've downloaded the English version of the beta en installed it (I have the dutch version but I read the solution for that problem). But my problem is that I don't see any lines anymore. Not in the menu or my storehouse. Is there any solution for that?

The English build was not designed to be compatible with the Dutch build so you will probably have to install the Dutch SR2 first to make the game ANSI instead of Unicode.

Ah thank you. I thought I had the dutch SR2, but it appeared to be the English one. I got it fixed now.

Hey, I recommend KaM to one of my new friends and he'll at least try this game. :)

There's just one problem, he has the Polish SR2 with the English language patch. Should he install Polish Beta 7 (+ some language pack?) or English Beta 7 patch? I don't know so please answer to me quick.

He can't install the English beta 7 unless he does a few registry tweaks which you can find explained on the first page of this thread. This time however the registry values will be missing as the Polish version uses different values so they would have to be created.

I'm not completely sure how well the English patch will work with the Polish game. At least a bunch of voices might get a bit messed up.

Installing the Polish beta 7 is of course possible without any tweaks, only problem being that the game will naturally be in Polish and there are no language packs for the 1.6 patch yet. The old ELP4 is not compatible with 1.6.

i have dutch i believe, ok, my hand made installer goes,

install game
1.58 patch
english language patch
english 1.6b6
then play game.

im pretty sure i can remove the "install english language patch" step and just install english 1.6b6
i havent converted the installer over to the newest yet.
also, i do nothing except install them in that order.
:P i got dutch because it was so cheap it was practically a steal. :P

i believe this was the original game installer but i completely edited the buttons and locations. below is screen capture.

Yup, soldiers will use both Polish and English samples, and only TSK's briefings will be in English. No more serious problems after applying the patch that way.

BTW, Litude, didn't you accidentally increase the amount of laborers in 2 TSK? Not really a bug, but IIRC it was always only 3 . Or I missed something in the changelog...

Can't remember doing that, certainly not intentionally. I'll check if the amounts indeed have been changed.

Doesn't work. I tried installing it, but the game start afterwords. Luckly, I made backups. When I placed the backups in the folder, I tried again, but the installer detected that my game was up to date already... now I can't get SR3. To make things worse, the game will only work if I open it via the folder under C:\Program Files\KaM - The Peasants Rebellion. If I don't do this, the game will shut off right after the Topwhare Interactive intro scene thing. Anyway this is making me very angry because the patch is supposed to be fixing the game, not making it worse...
Any ideas?

I added the Dutch build. Took a bit longer than I anticipated partly because I couldn't get the FTP connection to my host working for some reason, but it's now available on Lewin's server. :)

I haven't seen everything yet but I can tell I'm very pleased with this patch!

Incredible how you guys are improving on a game that's been out for 10 years and you're not even making any money off it!

I've heard the new voice for the rebel and it's pretty fun! Very original and it fits in the game. Nice job!

Also, I'm appreciating the new music added to the player. It's really a nice variation!

Can I just ask who did all this work? Because those people really deserve major props on doing this volunteerily!

Thanks for all the effort you guys have put in this.

x10hosting has been moving their servers, so that might be why. They seem to have deleted my account in the process :(. Just re-signed-up, and copied everything back.
