That might be an issue if we were recompiling it.
It shouldn't be - C++ used to be "compiled" to C and then really compiled, until better compilers were made

Aren't those the normal exes of The Shattered Kingdom? Might be an interesting idea though.
EXE files are not equal. The ones that are coded with C# are easily decompileable with C# decompiler. Others can only be disassembled.
