I have few suggestions for the song:

- instruments sound too unnatural/digitized, perhaps you could use another samples and maybe add a small reverb, so far it sounds more like Sci-Fi music (esp. at 1:37)
- where's bass drum?
- music end is strange

DeepBlue.mid sounds more finished and complete yet

- where's bass drum?
As i already said, drums will not
be in the next version.
- music end is strange
Yes, i know, but it's not done yet. :D

And to the instruments:

Well, midi files doesn't have all instruments. (only 128 and some drums)

Ideas are welcome!!!

Hi MrVV,
If you have a REAL XG synthesiser then you get 713 instruments. There are 128 General MIDI ones and the rest are XG. They contain many more drums. (singly, not in a kit) My keyboard has the full 713, and sounds really nice. But my computer only has 128. Does your keyboard have a full XG set? Maybe just an XG Lite? (~400 instruments)
BTW: In deep blue, you did not slow it down very well. As you cannot do a rit. in midi, you should really do a tempo change. What you did sounds a bit strange.

There are 500 instruments (10 drum kits, 128 MIDI tones, and rest is other instruments.)
Thats must be XG Lite

Hmm, a tempo change? Should i slow it down?

Hi,
Are you using a MIDI cable to play stuff through the keyboard?
Hmm, a tempo change? Should i slow it down?
Yes. rit. means to gradually slow down. It is normally used towards the end of a song or section of a song. (in the last 1-2 bars) You have just put pauses in between the notes (or something) and that is wrong. It should slow down. Try it. Listen to the original, and you will see it slows down.
