Well, so far it' looks like throwing TKE at The Community wouldn't be especially well-received.
Private project it is, then.

@Krom well, I'll consider it anyway, learning Delphi shouldn't be all that hard, right?

I did not mean to discourage you, but there is no way we can guess what impact TKE will have on the total kam community and i think we all do not want the community to divide and crumble apart.

Same as dicsoupcan ^

In no way I meant to discourage you, but I was just giving my opinion about what I think is realistic.

That being said, I'm glad you're back after such a long while so I'm definitely hoping you'll hang around.

Well in that case I think it's still better using a community for feedback and testing, but that's your call of course :)

You should definitely make it a public project, at least post status reports and take part in discussions like you did few years ago. That is a huge motivation bonus.

I recall you know C# (which iirc was designed a lot inspired by Delphi) you should not have big problems at all. Give me a call if you want to give it a try - Remake has a dozen of supporting tools and you could experiment with them to get started.

@Pawel: We don't have plans to stop Remake development. Judging from my previous experience with WR tools, when those plans appear it will take ~1.5 years till the project is abandoned.
:D That´s nice to hear :D I wanted say that maybe you don´t want to "implement balista/th" and say the remake is finish Or whatever :D It was just an example that everything could happen :)

I doubt TH and siege weapons could be a major unique selling point of TKE, after all in the next few years we might as well add them, given proper fighting/economy/perception balance :)

I don't think they'll ever implement them, but I have heard some rumors about Kirov Airships..

And I have heard rumors about Swordfish towers, maybe it could be a nice addition to TKE? I guess Lewin and Krom don't want an Aquarium Demo so it's the opportunity to take the Remake over!

Kidding ;p
