Hey there,
I just want to let you know what I am doing:
I have 3 running projects now: (animation for stonemason, animation for new tree) and this project:
I am working at a script editor to create scripts for KaM maps easy without coding(but you are able to add own code ;) ).

I think I will finish the first version in three weeks. Maybe earlyer.

Features:
- Create armys, positions, units, messages and areas for a good organization and overview
- See the timed events in a time line
- no need of code and fast and easy use
- messages for all languages in one overview
- save and load of a scriptgenerator file
- good coders can use this as a tool to organize the variables and can code without buttons in a normal textarea

Some first Screenshoots:

I hope you like the idea. :)

Nice to see that this project is coming along nicely. It also looks like it's going to be pretty simple to use. The auto-comments (they are auto, right?) are great because they'll really be able to teach what the code does without huge amounts of reading :)

Keep up the good work, Dreamkiller.

Thanks! ;)
Do you mean the discriptions for creating conditions(for the parameters)? Yes they are auto-comments. :)

This is amazing! I don't' know anything at all from codes and scripting... So having such a program could stimulate me to create my own "script", keep us up to date! ;)

Sry guys, but my editor isn't needed anymore. :( You better use this: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1764&p=30382#p30382
And I will start working at my own game. :P

I'd just continue and try to make it better. Competition often causes better stuff :)

True. Not really sure but I think there were also some "worse" map editors for Knights and Merchants when Krom made his one, today it´s the "best and most up-to-date" mapeditor for KaM....

One reason why we got the Remake so quickly is because TKE (The Kingdom Expanded, another remake for KaM) and KaM Remake were competing against each other. Back then, it was JBSnorrel and herold against Krom (and Alex?). Anyway, the forum was always exploding with information about the two projects. Of course, only KaM Remake endured.

But I can understand why you wouldn't want to continue working on your project. It is truly a shame, I was looking forward to your work.

A little off topic, but true, Dreamkiller, your artwork is still breathtaking. It'll be great to see new artwork of yours if you continue them :)
