Re: 3D storehouse

You should start from tower. This is much easier to make in 3d.
I liked make 3D graphic too and I know how difficult this is. I worked on Blender.

I would like to learn some 3D modelling as well. Could anyone give me any tips on where to start?

Re: 3D storehouse

@KillingB: Didn't heard about that one. I use Lightwave 3D. We had a similar topic at kamclub.ru, take a look: http://kamclub.ru/forum/19-1040-1 (more pics along the thread)

@FeyBart: Start at watching youtube tutorials ;) Pick your are of interest, then do some offline tutorials )

Re: 3D storehouse

Yeah, I'll do that. I just started up Blender, and I am wondering if I'll ever find out how this program works... :S

Re: 3D storehouse

Me? English. I quite dislike most translations. They're often terrible, and when I get used to a translation, it becomes impossible to me to find help online when I need, because I'd be limited to Dutch pages only.

Re: 3D storehouse

I use english version too, but this is not like I don't like polish. I'm just accustomed to original, plus many tutorials were make in english version.
If you need tutorial, look here. I didn't try this (I don't understand english enough), but people from official polish Blender's forum said this is a good magazine.
@KillingB, You really have to spend veeeery much time in this ;). And remember one rule: Never show anything with original blue background. I don't know why, but many people really hate this.

Re: 3D storehouse

Thanks a lot Chris, this might help in the future (whenever I have a basic understanding of the program). At Wikibooks they also have a huge set of articles that might help a lot, just for the possible Googlers out there that might land on this post. :P
