Yesterday I got a serious network problem on my PC:S So I wasted the netfree time to make snowy versions of the missing buildings. But as I see Ben has efforts to do some drawings also. So there will be huge selection for the developers to choose;) for the implementation.
I used only a 60% snowcoverage. Personaly skipped the ice pikes because that means the very fresh snow is melting immediately. (Yeserday, I read a news about the eskimos have more than 40words to the snow. Interesting :D )
My drawing quality is not the best but if can use, then fell free. The ironweaponry still needs the animations.(seems need to convert bmp files to png because the animations contains the roof.)

The coalmine is a big question. The coalfield is not covered with snow. could be good to make some magic maybe with a new tile set . As Ben explained, takes lot time to cover the coalmine animations with snow. My version of the coalmine did not cover the wooden pillars perfectly.

I was wondering how detailed is the barrack really, wow. I tried to use less snow on it because that is a massive building and the massive building more time to cool down. (churchs effect-cold in the summer and warm under the winter...)

@Ben: Looks very good! Maybe you can look into making icicles thinner near the ends?

You mean at the tips/bottom? That does, indeed, make sense. I'll see how it looks

EDIT: Here is the tannery before and after the slightly changed icicles:

Amazing, even after all this time. Still so much effort is being put into the next patch of the remake

I actually dislike the icicles. Not because of how they look, but because I rarely see them on houses when it snows here. I think the houses look better without them.

It must not be cold from where you are from Anti :D Every house in my town has icicles, especially the old ones.

Older houses did have icicles, the village I used to live in had a few very old farms, when it still dropped below negative 6 degrees C over here in the Netherlands they did have long icicles.
Maybe removing a few might look better, though.

//EDIT: Forgot to add the magic word 'Negative'

Indeed, older houses certainly are less efficient, and thus will have larger icicles.

And yet another edit to the tannery. Trying to make it more blue.

Actually, it's hard to discern the changes out of game

:) yeah like this roof much better. Could you make it without the hanging snow and making the roof a bit darker on the right side? Originally that part is also darker.
I hope the hanging snow is not part of the animations. Then would have to overcheck them again
Anyway the hanging snow or icepikes makes it colder. would need more snow to the sides in my opinion.

Oh my... After all this time...

I would definitely love to finish this if i had some time. And Ben is doing a fantastic job! Maybe we could all put work in to it and finish it together!

What exactly still missing to be added?
I think to have all the animations fixed also. We could start to test it and working out the rest of the problematic buildings and animations.
(It would be a good period to test as almost every week has 1-1 new versions of Remake)
Bests,
