Re: woloszek's maps

Due to the fact that we have a new demo versions of Kam remake, I might add, that significantly improved their maps, and especially "In Hell". I see that the map is not (not yet) popular, so maybe this news will change something.

Re: woloszek's maps

Hey!
:)
When will the biggest ship arrive into the dock? ;) Enough space are to the fifth bigger ship on the top of the Pirate Bond. ;)

I found a little challenge, i trained lot on your map. Chose location 1 (knights loc) and team one and set up 7 AIs in team 2 and kill the all AIs. You have 44mins to kill the most AI. Im corious is it possible mission? How much units could you kill?:)

Anyway this pirates style really original and looks good for TH units too. (Imagine it with some wheeler units too.)

Re: woloszek's maps

I was testing it yesterday, seems that the idea of iron vs leather works much better when there's far less units. Not that I didn't like Pirate Bond's epic and long fights, but Unknown Danger is more fun - you need to cleverly divide your troops between the entrances (especially on the iron locs), watch your ranged (especially xbows), the best part was microing the troops that both sides got after the main fights.

Re: woloszek's maps

Okay, here are my thoughts from our games:

Lovely map. It is very nice and quaint. I can tell that you put a lot of focus on fine details and every inch of the map looks good. Some spots are not to my taste, but they still look good and I really like your style for the most part.

I agree with what sado says about the game being more fun with fewer units. In fact, battle maps with fewer troops are more fun for me. My only worry is that players might be at too much an advantage if they crowd the choke points. In our games, we were very aggressive. I'd like to see how a passive strategy works here.

Very good job! I like it a lot.

Personally I think you'd be better to only use it in the MegaMap. If every map maker created tactical maps from small sections of their maps we'd have a lot of unoriginal tactical maps.

Although it does look very well suited for fighting, nice work ;)

Re: woloszek's maps

Sorry, Woloszek, but I have to agree with Lewin here. I don't care for duplicates of maps, personally (for example, an 8p and 4p version of a map, for example)

Re: woloszek's maps

We do not know when MegaMap been completed. There is a lack of interesting tactical map. Well let's see how this MegaMap will continue to look. Thanks for your feedback :)

Btw... I think that's just my part suitable for tactical map, because I had the biggest part of the map. The rest of the section is too small, but this is just my opinion :P
