Can anyone tell me how to reliably get archers to shoot at the enemy? The attack button seems always greyed out, even if the archers themselves are being attacked

Can anyone tell me how to reliably get archers to shoot at the enemy? The attack button seems always greyed out, even if the archers themselves are being attacked

The best idea is setting them in a strategically advanced location, if not an option you could right-click the enemy(Which is the attack command)
