Live Progress #45 - Need Campaigns

I figure the game needs a short campaign to tie up existing test missions together. Been working on that in past week:

I have some great ideas for a main campaign, at least 20 levels.
If I give the basic scenario in terms of a map, would someone be interested to build some of them?
Some are base buildings and fight, some are battles :)

Lets sketch up a plan for first 5 or so maps?

My idea was to cover KP basics and new features in this campaign, but of course if you want ot make a separate campaign - having 2nd campaign is even better!

Would it be possible to include TSK and TPR in KP? I know about the copyright issue and so, but if it would be completely redone?

@Vatrix: IANAL (I am not a lawer), but in my understanding, it is risky. I wonder if that was done for other games?

I wouldn't do it. But then again, why would you do it? Those campaigns have a terribly boring and one-dimensional story. The missions are as bland as they come, with the exception of a few I suppose. Though they may seem like quality missions, that's likely from tunnel vision because they were KaM for a long time. All we had was the campaigns until we could make our own maps. So our love for those campaigns is just based on nostalgia and our love for KaM in general.

Just make a new campaign. Leave originals where they belong;)

Of course - where to begin.

The story is based on civil war - The King, who's country has fallen to corruption and chaos in recent times, has called for volunteers to join the fight to put down the rebellion against the government.

It is a desperate fight.

Mission 1 would be defending city walls/battlements from a rebel invasion, and then outside the city ambushing (to surprise and trap) another bigger enemy force that is on its way (to save your city)
Mission 2 would be supporting a hero who is attacking the giant base of the rebels. You are a small part of the massive government army, and you fight on the ground level to support the heroes trying to reach the rebel leader/boss. (Climbing or breaching castle walls, fighting on roofs of buildings if possible, and you fighting on the streets)
Mission 3 would be rescuing the king's son held hostage. But your army is attacked by surprise by a supervillain. He is too strong to defeat, you have to go around and rescue the King's son.
Mission 4 would be you almost alone, on the run, failing to save the King's son, trying to escape ambushes in the forrests, to get home alive.
Mission 5 would be serious townbuilding on a big map - trying to get a powerful economy up and running while you fight off other warlords, preparing for the bigger wars to come.
Mission 6 is a naval invasion - landing with alot of archery action, then townbuilding. Then trying to beseige a major city.
many more missions available ...

Mission 1, 3, 5 and 6 would have town building.

I would like to have a campaign system like the command and conquer series, where you can choose from at least 2 sides to play on, with different missions, and different roles in the same missions. Possibly 4 or more, where you could play as a different faction in each.

Is it too soon to criticize? Haha maybe I'll just sit back here and watch (H)

maybe. criticising now would be like criticising a tiny pile of stones when you're intending to build a castle.
If you have advice, feel free to proffer it. I've been enjoying your KAM vids, Ben.
I was going to add, if anyone wants to pick one of those to build a mission, I can then draw a simple map to help :)

I'm looking forward to any missions, but recommend to start small, because whole campaign is a huge project, requiring months of work.
