how do i disable the timer

I had to replace my original K&M and I have that contains both The Shattered Kingdom and The Peasant's Rebellion and it boots me out after an hour or so --- time not consistent. I have tried different ways but I can never defeat my enemies in what ever time is allowed.

Anyway I don't want to be timed!! I liked the old game where I could build my villages and have fun playing around a bit.

Are you losing, or is the game crashing? If the game is crashing than it might be because you are using XP or later (if using windows that is)
Try downloading the SR3 B7 or SR2. They fix a lot of crashes.

If you are losing than perhaps you are accidentally killing serfs or destroying schools or other buildings? TPR added some tricky goals that make you lose if the conditions are met, such as killing all enemy serfs (mission 4 TPR is an example, I think)
