strange words

hi i have the tpr and wanted to play the fan-made camapin "The new lands".

but the problem is that if i put it in my game folder the map don't work and ik got strange tokens and words instead of wordt like setting.

anyone have an idea why this is and how i can fix it??

Sounds like you have a unicode version of the game. Try installing SR3, that will give you a "standard" non-unicode version:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=862

Then install TNL afterwards and it should work

Also, please check out the Kam Remake! TNL won't work very well with the Remake because the Remake's computer AI is much different than in TPR, but I still urge you to give the Remake a chance.

The Remake offers fully-working multiplayer that is done directly through the game (no annoying clients need to be downloaded!). Check it out at http://www.kamremake.com/

i am playing the remake but i can't find any new missoins for that so wanted to play the kam tpr so i could play new missions.

Hi gold1, If you want to play TNL I would play it in TPR, not in the Remake. A version for Remake is being worked on but won't be finished for a long time. Have fun!

I know Vas is working on a campaign that (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1506). You could try it out, but you'll need the beta version of the Remake for it (contact Lewin for the beta).
