Maybe its better letting the people who want some of those occupations play a few games against each other to determine who is actually the best for the "job".

I'll rather have a gym.
And yes Revo that's the idea, but first we need people who want to be one of those.

Just a question, how do you want to keep track of everyone's badges actually?

I've thought about that.
But gym-leaders will have to send me a list with people who defeated them, so when somebody wants to enter the elite 4 I'll check if he has 5 badges.

Of course you can always have a rival, but then it has nothing to do with the league.

First of all, I really like the idea, and I think there is a possibility (a good one) that it will work. Wait a second, Brock the first gym joined ash on his trip to the top So the first gym can be changed to someone else? (enough bad joking) And I think it will be funny to see the amount of skill needed to win from the gym and the elite 4 increase. So first gym easy, last gym quite hard, elite 4, first one hard, last one hardest. This will result in noob players, like me, to have fun in this tournament as well, and have a possibility to win at least one match

I like the idea too. I am a big fan of 1v1 matches. I think a lot more 1v1 matches should be played. In 1v1 you don't have to worry about your ally being noob or screwing up.

I want to participate as being gym leader. As a gymleader you can play with the settings you want, what is great . I am almost unbeaten on horseshoe, so can I take that as my gym or doesn't it work like that? I like to have the gyms with different pt's as the gyms need to be allround. PT in my gym would be 40 - 50 min.

I have less complicated idea

- classifying the players in 4 groups (A-B-C-D), according your concept of their skills in KaM ( A best, B skilled, C decent, D rookies)
- every player play with every player, 1 match (maybe 2)
- every group have differn points for the win. example: Group A = 4, Group B = 3, Group C = 2, Group D = 1. If A win A it's 4 points, If A win B it's 3 points, If D win A it's 4 points, If A win D it's 1 point and so on... And then we have standings and who win, he get points. Like football.

the league duration is 3-4 months, every player choose with who will play first. At the end, for official place on the standings, every player must to play at least 70-80% of the games. But who play more games should be rewarded with points at the end. When we will have official standings then we announce the winner or we decide to play final 4 (or final 8) like tournament styel where we get the champion.

If we have accounts ranking is quite easy to do actually. There are ready formulas to rank players based on their performance in fight between each other. Like chess league has (also mentioned in Facebook film).
