A guy called Tui on the German forum (http://knightsandmerchants.de) is organising a tournament called The Lauenburger Festival. He posted it in the chat channel and I offered to mention it here.
He said he's not trying to organise something as big as the Powah Tournament, but rather "a small cozy round".

Here is the information he gave: (his English isn't perfect, but it's readable)
Lauenburger Festival: Since the remake more KaM fans have found their way to multiplayer, it is now close to the German forum also organize a corresponding multiplayer tournament.
The "Lauenburger Festival" differ in their duels, a points system, a group assignment and a time limit of other tournaments, such as the "Powah Tournament" (http://www.knightsandmerchants.net).

Here, the "Lauenburger Festival" will take place as follows:
1) Registration: As of now, everyone can by PM at the Tournament Director (currently: Log Tui).
2) Group Assignment: After successful registration and the end of the registration period, the groups are arranged randomly. The end of the registration period will be announced shortly.
3) Group Stage: In 4 groups of 3 players, the group members each carry one another from the duels. Only the one for 2 duels with the most points will, in the next round.
Special Rule: If any player or players have achieved the most points after the 2 duels a tie, it comes in a 1vs1vs1 or 1v1 for "all-or-nothing game" in which only the winner qualifies for the next round.
Game Modes: 1 vs. 1 Points system: 3 points / win, 1 point / draw, 0 points / defeat Group Assignment: 4 groups (A-D) à 3 players. If required number of players per group is increased.
Time limit: 120 minutes. After the end of the 120 minutes the duel ends in a draw. Peace Time: 60 - 65 minutes.
4) Elimination round: In each case, the group best come in the knockout stage. Now there will be other battles between A1 and C1, B1 and D1. The winners from this play in the finals against each other and the losers in another duel for third place.
5) For the individual duels, the participants may each choose one of the following cards: More information coming soon.
6) If a player without giving any reasons to leave a game early, the game is lost. If it comes to "connection problems" the game is either once again taken from the last auto-save or restarted in mutual agreement.
7) The duels find each by agreement of the partners duel takes place in a certain time period. e.g. 1.Match in the group stage 7 days.
8) Is a duel over, both players should take a screenshot of the game statistics. This serves as proof. In addition, should both players in the forum or via PM Report tournament with you about the end result, so that the table can be updated.
9) The organizers borrowed from any type of warranty and holds itself without giving any reason any rule changes, exclusions, etc. pp. before.
10) An application to the "Lauenburger Festival" takes us by PM to the tournament director. Strong interest you would be pleased. The Tournament Committee
Currently he's the only guy organising it. He said to contact him via PM on knightsandmerchants.de (his account name is Tui). The topic over there (in German) can be found here:
