I am unable to find any sub-forum dedicated to development only. Can anyone please point me to to the right forum?

Specifically I have some compile errors and I need some indications.

There's not really a forum for that. If I'm not mistaken everything development-related goes through Google Code.

So far we did not had many developer questions. I think you can create a topic in Bugs. Later, if there are more questions Tom could make a separate section and move all related threads there.
