At the moment topic works as known and trusted database of good games, examples how to play KaM in each point. If you are going to improve your KaM skills and not necessarily know how you can do it, it's probably topic for you. ;)

At first it was challenge message written to encourage players to gather into unity. Here's first message (list with replays is under it):
Hey folks!

The reason why I created this topic is simple - me, and my friends (our powah squad: Florek, RomeK, koczis12, BigChuj) looking for good opponents for play in KaM Remake. We are actually a little bored cause almost every game we playing together ending in 5-10 minutes with obvious result. ;) Random games during a day including mix of skills which usually is easy to beat so we can't gather opponent team including only pro.

Well, what is our business - if you are REALLY good send me PM or write in this topic. Would be nice to play interesting 2-2, 3-3 or even 4-4 games. Our pleasure are classic maps like Border Rivers, Across the Desert, Wilderness while we hate "noob" maps and looking ugly.

See you on the battlefield! (H)

hi. I like to play against you, but I have only czechboss.
other good players are here: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=891 .
Yesterday at 19:00 I started server with the name "only top players - start 20:00 (CET)," and we had a very good balanced game. Maybe it is a way to have a good opponent. You create game beforehand or to have "every day at 20:00 game for PROplayers" and somebody come in.
I prefer to wait, until then to play the game unbalanced. I do not judge a bad player, but I need a challenge to continue playing and it is a challenge for others players to be good.

sorry for my bad english :)

Hi, thanks for feedback!

@Kruciprdel: We like to play with you and czechboss cause you are best opponents we met yet. It's good to see you noticed this topic, it can make easy gathering at least few players for good games. I like your lobby idea a lot, I did same several time in past, but usually decision about play game is very quick before I launch it, so I rarely make any preparations except invite everybody whos contact I own.
Our devise is same: better wait longer for good game rather play unbalanced one.

@Krom: Of course, after really good game it won't be problem to place it here (revealing our secret techs :P).

I guess we will play tomorrow at evening (20-22 CEST). Everyone who feels strong is welcome! :P The best 'd be if you give me a signal on forum before.

Cheers, Florek.

Sorry for double post, here I will describe first games (there was Across the Desert earlier) we played!

Team 1: Florek, RomeK, jajeczko, GONZO
Team 2: Kruciprdel, Beerzhoper, mulberry treee, Thunder

http://speedy.sh/YRYhG/powah-tour-Border-Rivers-8p.zip

Peace time was set for 65 minutes (it's our standard for Border Rivers). Games was really interesing, we had few sudden reversals of action, few big battles, intense shooting parts and unexpected manoeuvres. :)

What I can say more - replay will display you everything. ;p

@Down: Repacked to zip by 7zip, now should works! (anyway, previous archive also works for me)

My issue with file consistency was taken care of. Problem solved, and it wasn't the consistency of the file. Pure user error on my part.

Hello again, next dose of replays - this time it will be Warfare in the Wilderness 8p (long and laggy as hell) and classical Wilderness once more!

#1 Warfare in the Wilderness
Team 1: Florek, koczis12, Kanonier, King Piersaw PL
Team 2: Kruciprdel, Mulberry, Mixons, bucek100 (victorious!)

Hard game for both sides. Many sieges, but game is full of manouevers in middle of map! I think especially worth to see is economical aspect of few players playing. :)

#2 Wilderness
Team 1: Florek, Mulberry (victorious!)
Team 2: Kruciprdel, bucek100

Stats screen: Image

ABC guide how to maintenance fast attack!:P Also I think it's good example how to play on hardest location 4 in my performance. ;)

I think enough replays for some time, have fun!

EDIT: Last thing I forgot - feel free to comment! ;)

It's really great to watch competitive games like this! I watched the Warfare in the Wilderness one. I'm amazed by how much stuff you guys get built in an hour, and the players who built out into the center were very brave! And everyone uses 4 stone masons, I thought 3 was a lot! It was hard to tell who would win, the game was very back and forth.
Please keep posting these replays :)

I would love to have you guys beta test the next release, would you be interested in that? If so please spread the word to the other pro players. I can send you the release candidate some time this weekend, and if you can play a few of your matches in it hopefully you'll find some bugs we haven't noticed yet. (and you can comment on balance changes like archers being less powerful)
If anyone else on the forums wants to help test the new release too, just send us an email to contact@kamremake.com.
Cheers,
Lewin.
