8vs8 is possible
Multivillage is possible
Ask Paker, for sure it´s possible to finish tsk20 faster than you did

Nice to hear from you. :) It's been a while.

I believe you're correct. I forgot that we can adjust the game speed, and it looks like I might be able to reduce the time that way. (That is, I can do 50 commands in a fraction of a second if I so choose, which helps A LOT.) However, I am certain I cannot get a shorter time than 7m57s under regular time speed.

I can't make any predictions as of yet what type of time is possible with this "help", but I guess we will see. Of course, this new time will be assumed to be a (very smart) AI fighting against the AI, because it's not humanly possible to execute so many commands simultaneously in real-time.

i think you overlooked the fact that playing on 3x speed makes you finish 3 times faster, but also makes the timer go 3 times faster resulting in no gain (assuming you clock yourself using ingame time) :D

Yeah I see no point in increasing gamespeed...imo it means less than the actual mechanical capability of beating times ;)

WOW. 6 minutes and 28 seconds. I think just 2 losses (sacrifices) in the initial battle and 34 total losses.

Who would have thought? (5:xy is probably possible using a slight modification of this plan: this wasn't a perfect game.)

This is the first win since my 11.5 minute r5503 win that I kept the yellow ally alive. :D

EDIT:
Congratulations on 3k posts, Ben!

I can hear that deep voice saying "Coming soon! Cmowla's ultimate challenge! Making you heart stop while he's doing the impossible! Multitasking at its finest! Check your local theatres" ;)

So... Next step - 5 minutes? :D

I'm confused: Is this game time or realtime? Because game time is more impressive in my opinion.

I'm confused as to what you are asking. It literally just took me a few minutes to come up with this entire 6m28s plan (I know this map so well now that I pretty much can see if a plan will work or not), but it took about 6 hours to execute it (with almost a day break in between).

I was wondering if you won at exactly 6:28 gametime. But nevermind, it's time I actually watch it and find out for myself! ;)

5 minutes and 58 seconds. 18 total losses. I reused the first minute or so from my 6m28s win, but this plan is different.

What's very interesting about this win is that at the five minute mark I still had not destroyed any buildings! In addition, the yellow ally is alive to the very end. :D
So... Next step - 5 minutes? :D
No, I'm done. This, as far as I'm concerned, was a perfect game at the "microscopic level". I cannot improve it anymore.

"Enjoy the feature presentation." The music I was listening to the entire time I was creating this replay was Kingdom of Avilion by Position Music, so I guess that's the score for this "film". :D

I'm actually quite surprised that this time is possible, and there IS NO WAY I can significantly improve this time.

Lastly, I dedicate this to the human race, as it is one illustration which shows what we can accomplish if we are persistent. This win is not just for me, but for the entire KaM remake community.

never say you can't do it!

Thanks for the encouragement. Just to clarify, when I said "there IS NO WAY", I had in mind the restriction of normal game time. Therefore, I still consider my 7:57 to be a significant (and beautiful) game. That game was much harder to achieve than my 5:58. Since I've realized that I can slow down game time to be efficient, I have significantly reduced the time again, but I've reached my max by using this "help".

If you watch this 5:58 replay carefully, you will see that I utilized the yellow ally much better than my 6:28. The biggest problem with my 6:28 plan is that the yellow ally doesn't go for the important buildings first. No matter how many troops it has after the initial battle, it doesn't start to whack at an important building until around 5:30 (and that's with no interruption). Not only that, the entire yellow AI attacks a single building. Therefore, I am forced to destroy all buildings myself if I want to beat this with any time under 6 minutes.

In addition, you will see EXTREME efficiency in this 5:58 replay with the yellow AI. That is I attacked the black AI at the precise moment and drove them in a specific direction to ensure a quick death of them (all the western defending AI of the middle town). The yellow pikes were fighting against the black knights and the yellow swords were attacking the black pikes. Simultaneously, I effectively was quickly killing all of the knights in the deepest town.

Therefore, if the yellow AI was programmed to just attack important buildings (or at least attack them first) AND have different groups attack different important buildings, then I could have surely get 5:30, at least, with enough effort.

At 5:00, I believe I only had 11 total losses, and thus even in this game, I didn't "waste" troops. All troops were being utilized and of course I was alternating troops by my village to make it as if I had more than what I did.

What more can I do?
