Hi everyone!


I have a suggestion to come back war machines in the K&M Remake.
I think war machines was too strong and too cheap, so i have an idea to increase their cost.

They would only have to add(if it's possibly) a new building and a few things.

BUILDING: Siege Workshop

THINGS: machin base, wheel, catapult spoon, catapult stone, heavy crossbow, big arrow

In siege workshop:
war machines 2.png
-from 5 timbers and 2 irons we can make a machine base
-from 2 timbers and one iron we can make a wheel
-from 5 timbers and 3 irons we can make a heavy crossbow
-from 2 timbers and one iron we can make a catapult spoon
-from one timber and one iron we can make a one big arrow
-from 2 stones we can make a one catapult stone

In war workshop:

-from one machine base, 3 wheels, one heavy crossbow, 4 big bolts and recruit we can make a ballista
-from one machine base, 4 wheels, one catapult spoon, 9 catapult stones and recruit we can make a catapult.

Recruit in war machines will cause hunger and would have new animation.

The catapult would have more damage to buildings than to units.

The ballista would have more damage to units than to buildings.


I repeat, this is just a suggestion.

Wheel shop and wheels "ware" sounds like a good idea to make the machines more expensive yet still produced in KaM-like way! )

I'm surprised that I missed this topic. As a huge advocate of adding more variety to KaM, I like this idea a lot. Does anyone know if Rey has considered this idea?
