Linux noob strikes again

So our old VPS isn't working out. The host doens't like it that we are using our VPS for game servers and whatnot.

I have found a new host. Sure, I get 1GB ram less and it's a bit more expensive every month, but at least I get a 10Gbit connection instead of a 1Gbit connection.

The problem is that the servers aren't starting. I've copied the KaM server files from the last VPS, deleted the ini files and followed the exact same steps as on this new VPS, but nothing is happening. The servers are not appearing and no .ini files are being made. Nothing simply happens.

I already created a desktop environment with vnc so that a kind someone can help me fix this if needed.

Alrighty, this noobcake figured it out somehow. A file got corrupted apparently. No idea how.

Anyway, it says my server is located in the USA on the serverlist. This is not correct. How do I change that?

IP address blocks get reallocated and it takes a while for these changes to appear in "IP to Country" databases. Also for these changes to appear on our website I have to download the latest version of the database and update it on our server. We use a free one, commercial databases probably update faster. Our free one shows your VPS as in America:

I guess in a few weeks it will get updated. This commercial database says it is in Amsterdam:
http://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip_demo

So to answer your question, there isn't much you can do but wait, and when you see that the free database we use has the right location, let me know and I will update it on our server.
